Nuno Gomes has long gone lost his days of Fiorentina.
Tomos Sokota is the man!! Hard worker, good ball control, extremely strong, great shot, lots of midfield work. Currently the best Benfica player IMO dont listen to them who say he's not good, Zagabria, cause he's Amazing!!
Sokota would bring down all portugal problems needing for a striker if he was portuguese :depressed
And Gomes?? That little yank resumes easily to a little diving bastard with techinque

Sokota is one of my favorite players in Benfica. Even if he doesn't score, he gives the opposing team's defense hell !! It's amazing to see him on the pitch. He's constantly working even without the ball. I hope to see him in Benfica for many more years. He deserves to one day lift the cup [champions and top scorer ;) ] while playing for Benfica.

All life long I loved Portugal and portuguese football, especially Benfica. So i am really happy that my croatian fellow sokota does so well in Lisboa. Croatia is so similiar to portugal: wonderful coast and sea, pretty hotblooded women and very friendly people, roman-catholic country etc. My heart beats for portugal at the european championship-I hope that your team will make the dream come true and take the trophy home to Lisboa!!

FC Porto is without a doubt the better team... I like both teams but personally, I would prefer Benfica to win the Superliga one day seeing that I like Lisbon more than I do Porto. When I visited Porto, I've even seen rats roaming around in some places... It was a bad experience. But Lisbon is a much cleaner and beautiful place to visit. Either way, it would be nice to see Porto at least get past the first group stage in CL... it's going to be tough for them this year to go far without Ricardo Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira and manager Jose Mourinho who all went to Chelski. Btw, I can't believe Benfica lost 3-0 to Anderlecht recently in CL qualifying... not good... I was hoping that Trapattoni (who has a good track record at club level) would perhaps help Benfica get out of their "drought" for the past decade or so.
