Anyone think we can win EURO? I think we have a good team, but I'm worried about Holland and Spain, and the Czech Republic. Hopefully Del Piero regains his form in time, he and Vieri could make a great partnership.

See, its been a long time since Italy won anything, besides we did bad last time.. I have faith in our team and wish Del Piero good luck. I dont know what has been happening lately, we have best players, talents, everything but we can't put together a winning team.. Nesta, Maldini, Peruzzi, Inzaghi, Del Piero, Costa Curta, Cannavaro, Vieri, Baggio, Morriero, Di Biagio e.t.c., all these bright names and nothing...

Just hope people, we will have to get it this year, we have to restore our pride...

Which strikers do you think will start? I think if he's healthy Vieri is an obvious choice. I'd go with DP to partner him. DP is more of a set up man, so he can set up Vieri. Inzaghi isn't a set up man at all so forget that.

Hopefully DP performs well at this tournament. I expected so much more from him at the world cup.

Yes Vieri can start but for more efficiency I think the Juventus number 10 and 9 should start together.. They know each other more. DP did not play as much games with Vieri..

And Vieri can just come on as a sub for inzaghi, but DP is essential because he plays more as a play maker than a striker, I dont think anyone else in the Italy squad can replace him.

No I don't think anyone in the squad could replace DP either. I just want to see DP start scoring goals again. He needs to score some before the season ends, to get his confidence up. He is still a great set up man, but he can score too, he just seems to have forgotten how lately.
