Premier League strugglers West Ham have invited Brann's highly-rated youngster Azar Karadas to east London for a trial.
Karadas has long been the subject of transfer speculation and several English clubs, including Liverpool and Leeds, have had him over for trials during the past year. Bayern Munich have also had scouts keeping tabs on him this season.

The 20-year-old has been switched from a forward role into the centre of defence this season but has endured a frustrating time, which has seen him start on the bench more often than not recently.

Karadas hinted last week that he would consider his future at the Bergen outfit as he wants to add to his international Under-21 caps.

West Ham have had him watched by scouts on several occasions lately and the player’s agent Stig Lillejord told local Bergen paper BA: "Azar has a standing invitation from West Ham. The best time for him to go would be between November 5 and 10."

Karadas has hinted that he would be interested in a move to The Hammers and it would also suit his club, who need an injection of new finance.

Brann's head of sport Arne Moller said: "We have spoken to West Ham before and they were here to watch our last home game. We would be willing to let Azar travel to London."

Brann finish off their season this weekend with a mouth-watering home tie against champions Rosenborg. It is a game that Rosenborg will almost certainly have to win, as their nearest rivals Lilleström have - on paper - a much easier tie at home to Tromso.

With the season out of the way Karadas would then be clear to travel to London in a bid to kick-start his career abroad.
