The reason I have made a new thread is that this is A very very important message..... I have mentioned it in several forums.. Everybody will agree that Brazil have been going through a bad patch in the last fe years since the 98' finals... France won the euro championships in Jun 2000, yet Brazil were still ranked no 1 in January 2001... Wheres the logic????
Then we come to the wounders of the English national team and threre rise to 9th in the world cup standings... First of all the Dutch moved up a spot despite not qualifying for the tournament (losing 2 games in the process). Second of all Ireland have faired much better over the last year, since September 2000 than England in all competitions yet they are 11 places higher.. Fifas ranking system supposedly states that you get more points for wins against better teams and even more points for world cup points. Irelands record in Friendlies and W.C matches is P 12 W 8 D 4, Englands is P 12 W 6 D 3 L 3. How the F*ck can they justify putting England in 9th Position????
Germanys record is P 12 W7 D 2 L3, how are they now after moving down so much the table below england??????
If anybody can explain this please respond, if you are an 'English asshole' (and this is reserved for only them, not all english) who think that a thumping of a poor , once superpower, is a reason, then dont annoy me, write your own thread...... Othrewise can anybody explain the Crap ranking system in place.....
