I don't like the team that was named to start. if you havn't heard here it is...
heskey sheringham cole
parlor wise scholes
barry southgate keown p.neville
seamen

i don't think that heskey should be there over owen, parlor and wise should never play for england. and neville, well i won't even comment on neville,

I have to say that is the worse line-up I have ever seen England play.

No Owen?

HA! I see a draw, not because England plays good, but because Finland suck. And they do, I saw it in our (Greece) 1-0 win over them and we had 5 regular starters injured!!!

Finland is plain and simple just not that good. I see a 1-1 draw.

PS I hope this guy is the coach when we play him! lol, http://www.worldsoccerboard.com/ubb/wink.gif

well he dosn't have much to chose from. Tony Adams, Sol Campbell, Grame Le Saux, David Beckham, Steve Mcmanaman, Robbie Fowler, Gary Neville, Jamie Redknapp, Paul Ince and Steven Gerrard are all unable to play due to injury or other reason's. everyone one of these players would have been fighting for a place in the starting 11 if they were available, only 2 of them are not automatic choices in my opinion.

I must admit that is a crap line-up.
Finland have a great team I think, I wont say the players names because I cant spell them and cant be arsed looking them up!

i agree, finland are a good team and are very capable of giving england a good game. epecially in Helsinki and against a weakend england team.

well this is just my opinion if England can get out of there with a win no matter how they do wheater they play well or ugly it would not neccesarly give them momewntum but it would get them on the right track to where they need to be and especially for the new coach who ever it might be. BTW has the FA deciced when they will announce who it will be. and GB how would you feel about a foreing coach in command ?? or any English person that is i have heard mixed feeling on that subject

I want an english manager. but there are only 2 managers that have the ability to manage england, venables and robson. if we can't get one of those two than i think we have to look for a foreign coach.
