I am a fan of both teams but your statement is just wrong. Saudi Arabia has only been an Asian power since the late 80s while Iran and South Korea has always been the top Asian sides from the start. Also Iran has a superior head to head against Saudi Arabia and any other asian nation, Iran has beaten Saudi Arabia 3-0 on number of occassions where Saudi Arabia has never beaten Iran by more than 1 goal. Iran has beaten Saudi Arabia in Saudi Arabia but Saudi Arabia has never beaten Iran in Iran.
Anyways yes Ali Daie is with out a doubt the best Asian Striker of all time but it's debateble if he is the best asian player of all time.
