it is a good squad but i would have made a couple changes. One is that i would have selected Richard Wright instead of David James so that he can get some expierience. I also would have selected Teddy Sheringham who has been fantastic this season. As for players i would have left off there are only two. Parlor and Wise should not be on the team, niether of them do anything when they play for england.

Yeah, I would have to agree with eveything you said. I would drop Fowler and bring in Sheringham any day. Not because I'm a Man Utd fan but because Fowler has not played enough games, in my opinion to qualify for the England team. Also I think Parlour is crap whatever comp he plays in.

Yes, even though it would be hard for me to leave fowler off. I am a huge fowler fan, i think he and owen could become on of the most dangerous striker combinations in the world. but he doesn't deserve to be on this team and sheri does.

I personally think that Heskey and Owen have more potential to be a great strike-force, mainly because Heskey is not an outright striker, but he can finish nearly as good as one. As for Owen he is deadly in the area and he could feed of Heskey's passing.
Just my opinion.

i agree that they have great potential, but i don't think heskey is ready. If england are to have a good world cup campain i think it has to be fowler and owen. and i think you may be underestamating fowler's ability to pass tha ball. when he is in form he can not only finish, but he can also set up owen, and he can hold up the ball so scholes and beckham can get forward.
