A Polish Nigerian?

I read somewhere that a Nigerian player is trying to get Polish citizenship so he can play for the NT.

It'll be kind of funny to see it I think.

YOu don't get more black than a Nigerian, and you don't get more white than a Polish person.

I wonder what will happen. The Polish Gov't is supposed to make sometype of decision in the next week or two. The polish FA have expressed an interest in the Nigerian to at least try out for the NT. Apparently he has been a pretty good player in the Polish League over the past two years. Yeah, it should be interesting.

It has happened. I think his name is Emanuel Olisabe. He apparently is one of the better players in Poland right now and should make his national team debut against Romania in late August. Poland's 1st WC qualifier is against Ukraine in Sept. It is in Ukraine. I am hoping for a tie and build from there.

The Nigerian scored twice against Ukraine and sunk 'em... Very nice, very nice, he outscored even Sheva.

Although I don't support giving citizenship for playing in the football NT. I consider it just another step towards even greater commercialization of the game... It is OK. If you measure Polish and Nigerian IQ (intelligence coefficient) you will find no difference whatsoever. Both kinds of species are amicable to procreation with small farm animals and apes.
