Favourites

I think they have to be one of the favourites. Their qualifying group wasn't the most difficult, but they didn't drop a single point. Not ONE!!!! I remember they were losing to Scotland 2-0 in the 80th minute, and came back to win that game 3-2! Only a class team can do something like that. I think they're showing that the finals in EURO 96 was not a fluke, and not qualifying for the WC was a fluke. In fairness to them, they had Spain and Yugo in their qualifying group, so they sure didn't have it easy.

Yeah, definitely. They are a great team, and I thought they would win Euro 2000. However, they are too underrated I think. They have great players, including Berger and Nedved, and yet they are underrated. I don't know why. I think that they will have a great Euro 2000. Who agrees?

I think most East European teams are under rated. Europe is very western oriented. Eastern teams get respect, but nobody ever picks them to win it.

Czechs are ne of the favorites but i don't think they can do much against Netherlands and France. They can maybe beat both of those teams but still lose to Denmark.That is how East Europe teams are. I know that because I am Yugoslav and many E.countries have good teams but just screw up when they should not.

I think the Czechs won't do much at this years Euro200. :D

I would not count them in as favourites. If you pick someone from balkans to be favourites then I would pick Romania or Yugoslavia.

To me, the Czechs were the most convincing of all Eastern Europe. They didn't lose a game, were never in danger of not qualifying, and played great.


Romania and Yugo are also good, but I wouldn't rank them ahead of Czech's at this moment in time.

As of now, Yugo is playing very bad, I would not rank them above South Korea!

I don't think I'll be disapointed, it's not like I'm hoping they win. I just think they have a good chance :)
