I think romania will win. they are more experienced as a team and very consistent the most consistent among East and Central European teams plus have some top quality players like Mutu, Contra, Ilie etc. i dont see any problems for romania to be on 2002

See, this is the underestimation we are counting on. We've had the same problem through the whole qualifications... our players not playing in their clubs. And we managed to come this far... so, we are not concerened that our players aren't playing, cause playing for NT here is like the greatest honor that could happen to a player and they will do EVERYTHING in their power to come out as the winners... you CAN bet on that...

to our guys to have a normal treining, then luckily Uefa did the job.

nobody played dirty games. the Slovenians were told many times that they can warm-up on the main field and then train on the auxiliary one in order not to damage the grass. They didn't want to listen to this and finally, the FIFA rapresentant came and told the Slovenes to finish. Anyways, they did train 45 minutes.

Romania was defenitly the best opponent in these qualifications, they realy deserve to be called Balkan`s Brazilians; and that Contra guy....he is realy something and not just because he scored an eurogoal :eek: But anyway, don`t forget we played without Zahoviè(top star), Knavs(top defender, Kaiserslautern and Germans league best player of previous month) and Cimerotiè!!!

I agree with Fantastic, that you were the best sqad against who we played in this qualification, i think, if you would play against someone else in this playoffs, you probably will go true.

But for us, this is the first time and you can admit, that we deserve, 12 games without a defeat in this qualificaion and we play against Romania, Yugoslavia, Russia, & Suiss. (also against Luxembourg & Faroer).

Yes, we did it, we go to the World Cup. It was proven once again that underestimation never pays off. :D
