Lindy is back, Kewell looks fitter every match, Baros will be better for having played with the boys, Our backline looks pretty good now that Sas looks like he can fill that RB role for now and Nonda will be Nonda and looks to be getting a lot more opportunities since Kewell has come. I think even the players themselves wont accept anything but a win. There wont be any excuses if we dont win.

what galatasaray need to focus on tonight is marking their opponents really tightly and not allow counter-attacks. this is a big area galatasaray is failing at the moment. if we can do this right, we will win it for sure because we have good fire-power up front to finish off the job.

having arda out is a huge loss, most of our passing power comes from him. but im sure kewell and aydin will run rings around the wings and lincoln and ayhan will mop up the balls and deliver. i hope we play with alot of fast passing as usual.

i really like Kewells attitude, he really tries to motivate the rest of the team, its obvious he didnt just came here to get injured and sip drinks on a beach he really wants to revive his career.

- We cannot mark up (thats for sure)

This shows that we really need a decent RB and we need Hakan Balta back, i think Volkan Yaman was very quite tonight, aswell as Ayhan Akman.

Lincoln, Baros, Kewell and Aydin were by far the best players.

We should be able to put this team away at home with many players returning from injury for that match.

2.) The reff was horrible, worse then a TSL reff.
3.) Hopefully people will start appreciating Lincoln now. He played good the entire game. He assisted the 2nd goal and created like 3 other 100% chances that ppl cudnt score. His goal was just a bonus and sort of lucky, but no1 takes notice of all the passing he does, instead they just compliment (or shout at) the goal scorer (or misser)... And then have the nerve to say Lincoln didn't do anything.... He's not a striker, he doesn't score every game.. he sets up goals and that's what he has been doing so many times this + last season but no1 seems to take notice...

Well, lesson learned, don't have 3 CBs again.

The reason why we conceeded 3 goals today was simply to do with not marking up in defense and having 3 CB's and no depth in the CDM. Simple as that. We have been horrendous so far this season at judging the opponents counterattack...

The return leg in Istanbul will be quiet different. We will probably have Arda, Mehmet Topal, Linderoth, Hasan Sas etc back and we will crush this team.

Perhaps because, in this case, the comparison is pretty similar

both Haccetepe and Bellinzona are 2nd division teams that just got promoted.

Both Fenerbahce and Galatasaray played with a depleted team.

But in the end Galatasaray won the match. Our problem was simply in the defense. If you actually watched the match, we got into way more positions, we had the ball alot longer than the opponent and we were the team created more chances.

There is no difference between the Anadolu teams and teams like Bellinzona, to me, they are pretty much in the same context....

Dont forget, we played away and it was our first match against them. We didnt know what to expect. Our Midfield and Attack is all but perfect. We just needed a decent RB and it was obvious Skibbes formation did not work. We needed a CDM. Anway.....
