No I can't see this happening, the others are too strong, also Spurs, might lose Berbatov yet and that's not gonna leave them many strikers!

No, there are other teams fighting for top for as well like Everton, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Blackburn.. They will have a tough fight for even 5th or 6th place.

Agreed, and I think you have to consider Portsmouth a shout for a top 8 finish this year. So they also will be competing in this group.

^ Nah Newcastle are safe this year I feel.
Tottenham will not break into the top four because they are not good enough!

No, Liverpool have a better team this year while Arsenal, Chelsea and Man u are always in top 3. They might make it top 5 though

With Giovani Dos Santos and Luka Modric as huge reinforcements for this club it's a possibility. However, I highly doubt they will be able to oust the veteran clubs of Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, and Liverpool.
1. Man U
2. Chelsea
3. Arsenal
4. Liverpool
5. Spurs

I agree, although if Arsenal sign one experienced Defensive Midfielder and an experienced Central Defender and put Galas as a right back rotating with Sagna, then we will have enough to win the title, at the moment though, i think 3rd, even 4th this year for us :(

I was wondering if Spurs are to break into the top 4. Which team will be the team to be replaced. It seems hard as Arsenal looks really quick in play, Liverpool's strikeforce is really impressive, Man United and Chelsea looks too fantastic.

I'd like to see Tottenham break into the top 4, but it won't happen. They're hyped up every season, to varying degrees, but still hyped up, and then nothing happens. The history is there, the fans are there, the rivalries are there (e.g. vs. Arsenal and Chelsea), but the football is missing. How can Spurs let a guy like Robbie Keane leave?
I can't see any team breaking into the top 4 -- they are way ahead of the rest. Everton, Portsmouth and Aston Villa will probably be fighting for 5th spot.

I don't think Spurs can get into the top four this year, I don't think any other team can except for the usual teams. I reckon spurs will finish around top 6-7...I think there are a number of teams which can battles just below the top four, which will defo be interesting. I thinkEverton will have a poor season this year. I just have a feeling. They've made no signings, and have lost some key players such as Andy Johnson, Lee Carsley...

Spurs are one of the most over rated teams in england.

We have a serious rivalry.. We HATE each other. So much that on the trains or streets, we see each other and there is no mercy shown if one kicks off with the other.
The North London derby is always a great fixture though. I wouldnt want our rivalry to end, ever.

I think Tottenham are gonna have a season not unlike last, evertyone is saying what a great squad they have and what a great manager. However just like last the year half of the 1st 11 are new players how many debuts did they have last week 4 or 5. I tihnk this will once again mean poor start and they'll be out of the race for top 4 in the 1st 10 games.
Added to this if Berbativ leaves they do not have enough strikers and little time to replace them.
The Rivalry between these two clubs is fantastic, always has been always will, Arsenal might hate them, but would not want them relagated as it would mean the loss of thier closest /fiercest rival.

True but it has only been recently that Birmingham were in the EPL for you to meet, and now they are down again. Before this they had a lot of years of frustration, culminating in relagation to 3rd division in 1989.
However I think they are very likely to bounce straight back this time.

i doubt they will but if they were it would probably be at the expense of liverpool but doubt it

The thing is Tottenham say theyre always improving, but so are we. We also have had to rebuild our team because weve lost all our classics. ie henry, viera, pires, bergkamp, etc and were still ahead of them. That shows the level Arsenal are on compared to the Spuds.

No chance!
Not in the next 5 years. Unless someone from Abu Dabi or Dubai buys them out.

PAH! Those Arabs can keep dreaming, they will not instantly win the title because they have all the money they need. I think they will be serious title challangers, but they wont win the premierleague or CL anytime soon

I think if Tottenham can get a bit of form together then they are more than capable of taking 4th spot from Arsenal.

At the start of the season, I thought Spurs were good enough to break into the top 4, or at least run them close, but they're going to have to improve on their early season form if they are to realise their potential. At the moment, Everton, Portsmouth and Villa all have better chances of finishing above Tottenham.

I actually think Arsenal (though still a very good team) are on the decline because Wenger hasn't spent much and sold unwisely. Tottenham have bought well...We will see.

Tottenham will never ever EVER break into the top four no matter how much money they spend they will allways struggle they buy over hyped players who never make an impact and take half a season for the team to start a winning streak thats why Spurs will never ever break into the top four ever since Darren Bent came their teams results started going bent infact hes great at scoring against Championship sides though

It is difficult to see how with present set-up.
Martin Jol may not have been a ‘fashionable’ manager but he was working hard with a Spurs team he had and achieved a lot. He is now top of the German league.
I do not think Ramos has the correct attitude, he seems to want to spend big and buy success, as a Spurs fan I was suspicious of him when he took the reigns and he certainly has done nothing to change my opinion.
Jol did say that his team lacked a certain fighting spirit and this has be shown to be true.
I cannot see a manager who will take over at the moment, Jol is too sensible to return, Mark Hughes has been mentioned but that would be unlikely.
Maybe we need an unknown manager who will instil a more aggressive winning sprit.
