top two from each group makes it out. here is who i think will make it out:

group A: japan and australia
group B: this is a lot tougher, it's anyone's game. I think it will be Korea republic and Saudi arabia.

3rd place from each plays off which I believe may be Iran or N Korea vs Bahrain.

Iran's power is not gone. They have young players all over their league and Sepahan reached World Club Cup. Also, some players left to Osasuna, while others are scouted by Marseille. I think the reason you think their power is lost is due to the coaches always fielding the same players over and over again, the old players that are way ahead of their prime... when he is totally oblivious to the thriving talent in the Persian league. Persian league is almost anonymous even in Persian coach's eyes and I question this. European clubs are opening their eyes on Esteghlal, Persepolis, and Sepahan, and also Saba Battery in some cases.

I am Qatari. Our group is cushy but we are afraid of the Australlians! We lost 3-0 the first time to them. The second time we lost 3-1. I hope we can beat them this time!

i am not so sure australia will have an easy time. viduka and kewell are not in top form. in fact viduka especially has gone down hill ever since he left middlesbrough. asia is not as easy as australia thinks it is.

for that matter i am not sure s korea will make it out of group b either. we have not been playing too well recently and our top players are not in form either with the exception of ji sung park who now may have a knee injury. the most promising player is kim do hyon of west brom who have recently been promoted to the premiership.

b rabbit i bet you think australia could crush s korea... i would bet that s korea can destroy australia most days. although the recent ACL had the A league teams beating the K league teams, the K league teams were not representative of the best in the K league.

Majid Abdullah is the 3d and ahead of all Iranians by all Asian vote, and of course with no doubt the best keeper ever is Mohammed Al-Deayea :D
and also Said Al-Owairan was 6th who scored the best goal in WC94.

the Only player I like from Iran is not listed with the players you mentioned and he is Khodadad Azizi

and by the way it is an English forum please dont write something we cant understand..unless you are so afraid to tell us!

I wish we did not have a rule that prevent players from playing abroad otherwise Majid would have been one of the best in the World.

and about the 8 - 0 of Germany I want to ask you one question ;), can you play as a goalkeeper alone against 11 players? that what happened in that match and Mohammed had nothing to do actually :)
