The following rules will now be in strict regulation. We are no longer reluctant to notify your ISP or your server host for conduct that breaks the rules.

FOUR MAIN RULES:

POSTING
Do not post any messages that are offensive, provocative, obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening or otherwise violative of any laws. Do not attack other members or curse in excess. No language is to be spoken other than English, a few posts here and there is not a problem, its when whole threads are in a different language is when the problem occurs

SPAMMING (two kinds)
1) Promotion of your website is strictly not allowed. Any posts seen "advertising" a website will immediately be deleted, and SFN reserves the right to notify your server host. If you are interested in advertising, contact admin@soccerfansnetwork.com or send a private message to an administrator.

2) Any users who sign up with the intent to provoke and spam the forum with useless messages will not only be banned, but also their ISP will be notified.

SIGNATURES
Signatures can be a maximum of 400 pixels wide and 75 pixels high. 400 * 75 MAX, including text and graphics. This is the height equivalent of 5 lines of size 2 text. Thus, each line of text is approximately 15 pixels. So, for example, you can have a 400*60 graphic and choose to have one line of text underneath.

No links to other forums are allowed in the signature, but links to personal websites are okay. Furthermore, political and sexually provocative signatures are NOT allowed.

MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
One username is enough. If a user is caught having more than one account, the excess accounts will be terminated and the user will receive a warning.

BREAKING THE RULES
We have a warning/infraction system, which allows the moderators to issue warnings in the forums they moderate. Any member who breaks the rules will receive a warning of 10-100% depending on the severity of the violation in question. One can get several warnings before serving the ultimate punishment, which would be a ban. Warnings usually expire in 30-45 days. Bans can last longer. Not respecting one's ban can lead to an IP ban.

If you have been banned, you can lodge an apeal process at the SFN Court down the bottom of the main page as you are not able to access the entire site. If you are succesfull in your apeal you will be notified and redeemed your account back in full. If not, then your ban will still apply.

Please do not consider following the rules as a necessary evil. Their purpose is to make everyone's time at SFN as enjoyable as possible. If you have a need to express yourself in other ways, then do so somewhere else. All we are asking is respect towards others members.

Thank you for your attention and happy posting!

P.S
Rules are subject to change at Senior Mod/Global Mod/Admin disgression.
