This is very sad news for Frank Lampard. I lost my mom recently too and it is a shattering experience. I hope the press give him some space.

Yes sad time for Frank and his family.
Great to see the tribute that the Chelsea players gave her after they went 1-0 up yesterday.

Condolences.
Good to see him back on the training grounds though. Maybe it will keep his mind off things.
What a fracas it was at Bridge though... Lol

It will take him a while to shake off the sadness. It's one of the worst things that could ever happen to someone, a death to a family member. RIP to Frank's mother
I say they have to wear Chelsea jersey's with Lampard's mother's name on it in tribute of her in the next game

Cheers man, I appreciate that. It has been a very tough last couple years for me on that front. It is something you never get over, you just learn to cope better.
Anyhow, I hear Lampard is back in training and that really is for the best.

condolences to Frank Senior too.
Frank Lampard Senior used to play for West Ham, for nearly 20 years.
He must be just as shattered to lose his life partner.
All the best to the family.

Yeah it was really nice of them ....those chelsea players have a lot of heart!!! Pat Lampard was obviously famous among the chelsea players. May she rest in peace.
The best part of course Chelsea won the game in the end despite the controversial penalty :)
