The new stadium

Maccabi Netanya is set to unveil the new city stadium in the upcoming 2008-2009 games season in a total coast of 35 million $.

According to the Netanya city hall plans, the total area of the stadium will be 163 acres and will include spaces for employment.

At the first stage, 12,000 seats will be allocated in the stadium, and in the final stages of construction there will be 20,000 seats and it will be built according to international game hosting standards.

second- Maccabi Netanya is anything but a top club...their last championship was in 1982 and last cup winning was in the 60s...right now they are on second place in Israel and its consedered a great sucess for them. Luther Mateus landed in a real shit hole :S well i hope he gets paid enough to train that team...

hifaman first Maccabi Netanya is in the top for the last 2 years ,you guys lost 6 times in this period of time and won ,let me remember ...... ooo yes zilch zerro nothing why? becaus we are one of the best teams in israel " a top club " and we will stay one of the best, take it or not its your problem , we taken the champion in 1982/83 , so what? it was the best team that ever play in the israeli leag "ever" , football its not just about heart you need money too ,and now we have it , haifa was a great team and they was the only team with money , you grab what player you wanted but now its finished you are not the only one, ther are maccabi tel-aviv beitar jerusalem hapoel tel-aviv and maccabi netanya!

the awesome and "big crowd" you have and the beutifull stadium?

dude the "rigshey nehitut" of Netanya towards the 4 big teams (Maccabi and Hapoel Tel Aviv, Beitar and Haifa) are enormous. did u notice during the last season no one really cared about Netanya being 2nd? (for the first time in years) but everyone talked about the distance between Beitar and Haifa. no matter how hard you will convince yourself- Netanya shall always be the 5th if not 6th club in Israel.

And last point- Cartel just for you to know more about the proud Maccabi Netanya family- on their first ever match in UEFA Cup last year (first one ever!!!) they brought hardly 9000 fans to a 14000 stadium.

So Netanya man- u go and enjoy finnaly having a team that worth something in 20 years. because soon you will be back to 6-7-8 places.
And yes- Netanya the city, without anything to do with the football team, is a shit hole.
