Potential Transfers for the 08-09 Season

Well we have a transfer rumors thread but lets use this thread to list possible transfers for the positions in need of transfers.

Goalkeeper: We have Volkan and Serdar and they are both good enough to start and always fill in great for each other when the other is out.

DR: We have G.Gonul and Onder. And Kerim Zengin is coming back from loan. But Onder's and Kerim's contract runs out at the end of the season.

Potential DR situation: M.Topuz would be a great signing. He usually plays MR but he can play dr as well. And we should resign Onder or Kerim as well.

DC: We have Lugano, Edu, Yasin, Can.

Potential DC situation: Hopefully we can keep both Lugano and Edu but we'll more than likely lose one of them, hoping to God its edu and not Lugano. And Can should leave for his own sake too. IMO a good replacement would be Alex from Chelsea and for Can a good replacment would be Ceyhun Gulselam or even Serdar Tasci.

DL: With Roberto Carlos, Vederson, and Ugur i think its pretty much covered.

DM: Aurelio, Appiah, Deniz, Maldando, and Selcuk

potential Dm situation: Well Aurelio might leave, hopefully not, resigning this guy would count as a huge signing in my books. Hopefully Selcuk leaves. Nuri Sahin plays DM right now at Feyenoord but he lost his starting spot. Maybe we can pry him away from Dortmund during the summer.

CM: Alex, Kemal, Gurhan, and Olcan.

Potential CM: we definetly need to find a backup to Alex since Tumer left. Nuri Sahin and Zafer Yelen or S.Inan would be great buys.


MR: We have Dievid, Kazim and Ali Bilgin.

Potential MR: IMO we should resign Serhat Akin back on a free transfer. Also if we sign M.Topuz he'd be a good backup as well.

ML: Ugur Boral/Vederson

Potential ML: Caner Erkin, this guy is a must buy, Nuri can also play there.

ST: Kezman, Semih, Ilhan

Potential ST: Semih might leave, just like Aurelio if we resign this guy it would be huge. If not we should look at M.Erdinc and S.Yildirim. We are expected to sign a big name foward and my first choice would be Vagner Love but ofcourse i cant say to the rumors of Henry, Eto'o or Sheva. A partner ship between Henry-Kezman, or Eto'o Kezman would be insane.

So my transfers in would be: Resign Semih and Aurelio. Buy either Serdar Tasci or Ceyhun Gulselam, M.Topuz, Nuri Sahin, Zafer Yelen, and M.Erdinc. And resign S.Akin on a free transfer. all this + the big name transfer and we'd have a superb team.

Nice list. I would agree with most except Sheva. I just don't see much more in him. Besides, he's expected to go back to AC Nursing Home.

I'd love to get Zafer Yelen or Selcuk Inan as an Alex backup. Instead of buying a whole bunch of players, though, I'd rather have the management buy players that could play in multiple positions. Like Mehmet Topuz, who can play both RB, RM, and CM. Also Nuri Sahin who could play CM, CDM, or even CAM. But I couldn't say no to Caner Erkin.

honestly i dont want any european based players. I want to have brazilians or players who can speak portuguese like Lugano or Maldonado. S.Americans who can speak portuguese and turkish players.

Otherwise players like Kezman, Appiah, Anelka dont seem to get along with the others as much.

^ you're right... but Bosnians and Turks play well together. I know this because in Schalke, Bajramovic and the Altintops were deadly combinations and Schalke would always get in 2nd place or something... and also in Wolfsburg and some other teams.

I really, REALLY don't want Kezman, Semih, Maldonado, or Deivid sold, but I don't know how we're going to fit all these players into the team. If we buy a RM, Deivid's going to be left out. If we buy a ST, Kezman and Semih will be left out. If we buy a DM, Deniz and Maldonado will be left out. Then again the DM situation depends on Deniz's performance and Aurelio's contract. Also I don't think Appiah will stay with us so might as well sell him.

Y do u keep insisting on kezman?, hes been a failure for 2 years straight + hes unhappy and the brazilian members dont like him much so he gets excluded like Anelka does. Kezman is a crybaby and should learn not to overreact when Zico puts Semih in during a game or when Semih gets the starting role over him.

Hoestly, I think Kezman is better than Semih and should've started in Stamford. He's one of the best strikers in the world only when he wants to be :(

I want Kezman because I know this isn't the real Kezman we've been seeing. I know he's been garbage but I would hate to see him go and have the next guy be a bigger flop. I guess his desire to score and the effort he puts into the games make me insist on him.

I don't agree about the whole overreacting thing. Well I did before, but nowadays Semih has been talking too much to the media. Just shut the hell up and keep scoring, the last things the fans want to hear is "I'm tired of sitting on the bench." I can't just blame Semih for this because Kezman does it too but Semih isn't the most innocent benchwarmer neither.

Until a few weeks ago we were all talking about how we were lucky to have both of our strikers in top form. Now we're talking about selling Kezman and shit. I'm tired of changing feelings about the lineup. Whatever Zico does is fine with me I guess.

yea the keyword is lucky, Kezman being on form was very lucky for us, he is really inconsistent. We gave Dievid a chance this year, and hes performed amazingly, while kezman has not.

Kezman has consistently complained to the media, and has always done stuff like storming out after being substituted and wat not.

Semih has been sitting on this bench for about God knows how many years, always performing when he is needed the most. And now hes the goal king but still on the bench, i can understand y he complains unlike Kezman who goes on like 1 month goal droughts and then complains after games when he cant even score tap-ins.

True, but there are a lot of people in Semih's situation all over Europe. I guess we'll see what he really thinks about the benchwarming thing at the end of this season. Wouldn't be surprised if he accepted one of the offers coming from Europe. It would be a great loss but you can't tie those kind of players to the club.

Overall he has Fener to thank at the end of the day. If he was loaned to some Anadolu team instead of being able to watch Ortega, Hooijdonk, Anelka, Nobre, Kezman, etc, he would be an average striker with average qualities.

I don't know what to say...wtf...Alex is our penalty taker, who the hell are you to go and ask for the penalty kick when Alex is still playing, and the scoreline is 2-1 with Ankara applying pressure? You're already stressed out of your mind. It's a friggin penalty, it's not going to get you back on the starting lineup or make the fans chant your name. I'm so friggin pissed off. I can't even blame Alex or Zico for this. It was the guy's birthday yesterday and I figured Alex and Zico couldn't break his spirit at the time. From now on we have 0 (zero) advantage. Only 1 goal difference between us and GS. We play Denizli in Kadikoy next, while GS plays IBB away. We have to win regardless of what GS does in Olimpiyat. That game in ASY just got tougher.

well the real question is Zico is he going to stay or is he going to go there are some rumors that i have read on newspapers that zico might join Lazio on 2008-2009 season the players most brazilians wants Zico to stay but Zico wants 1 million euro more on his contract this makes our board think about him but i want him to stay cause if he leaves our brazilian lets say south american connection will be destroyed and if he leaves Fenerebahce bu must sign a south american manager like parreira or scolari i hope zico stays at Fenerbahce and i also want to see Kanoute on Fenerbahce he would be a very good signing also Onder Turac? might go to Moskova zk so we need kerim zengin also Kayserispor wants so much money for mehmet topuz and i also herd that there are some clubs from la liga whos interested of mehmet topuz.Kezman and Maldonado must go
