There is a big rumour going around that we are going to see Andriy Shevchenko at Galatasaray next season.

It will cost us 22 million euros.

What do you think? This is from Adnan Polats mouth apparently...

i can see it happening. he is getting old and the epl could be a bit too intense for him now.

just two words, -no chance

There is a big possibility that this can happen.

Chelsea do not need him, they have enough strikers as it is.

He would fit very well into our team, seeing as Hakan Sukur is leaving at the end of this season. A Umit Karan Schevchenko partnership would be deadly.

Imagine that!

Once we get a good Goalkeeper, one more good defender, and possibly another one or two midfielders, we can be deadly.

Of course, for him to come, others might have to go.

haha i love this, when ever fenerbahce get linked to a big name foward, a week later GS is linked to them as well.

Anyway where do u expect GS to get 22 million euros? They'd have to sell half the team. And we know from past years that GS never sells their players for a profit but instead for real marked-down prices.

1.) Why on earth would/should we pay 22m for Shevchenko? We not buy a pretty good guy for 5-10m? I'm sure he'd be just as usefull to us.
2.) How would we get the money? It'd be a waste anyway.
3.) Why would he come to GS? (sure we've got potential, but losing 5-1!?)

Never gonna happen.

You must be kidding,

For 22 Mil. EUR Schevchenko, this guy will be 33 next year.

For this amount you can get a very very good striker who is much younger and bring again some money one day. With high possibilty Galatasaray would be Shevchenkos last career station.

Polat, you better keep your hands off from Shevchenko!

I cant beleive Sheva would gop back to AC MILAN, in one or two years time he will have no playing time there, he should come to Galatasaray, he would do very well along side Umit Karan.
