And he also scored a very very respectable amount of goals in Allsvenskan before moving abroad. If Lagerbäck doesn't put Berg on the team REGARDLESS of how Berg performs in the training matches before the EC. Lagerbäck needs to be sacked, seriously.
I am a "Lagerbäck supporter" and think he has gotten a whole lot of unfounded criticism. I agree with Henke Larsson, later on, we'll happily look back at the time when Sweden qualified for 6 Championships in a row.
That being said, Lagerbäck has to put Berg on the EC team. Allbäck is given as the 1st sub to Zlatan and Elmander but Berg simply have to be included and get some playing time as well. Fingers crossed that Berg can develop into a great striker at NT level, he hasn't disappointed so far.
I hate to say it but Allbäck shouldn't even get a spot on the team this summer. I know that he will but I don't think he's better than Rosenberg, Elmander, Berg, Ibrahimovic. However he shouldn't be 1st sub choice.

Really ?, his goals per match is probably better than all the forwards you listed. I think Ibra and Elmander should be in the starting 11 based on creativity but Allbäck feels like a natural choice as a sub if things don't go the teams way. Allbäck is part of the backbone of the team IMO. He puts the balls in the net and doesn't disappoint too often.
You're correct about his scoring percentage. He has been amazing in the blue/yellow jersey but the thing is that he's turning 35 this summer and it's about time to let go of the past and bring in Sweden's future. Just my opinion though.

Oh crap I just read the news on Aftonbladet that Berg will miss the game against Brazil due to a back injury.
Marcus Berg is ready to do a comeback with his team FC Groningen. Go get em Berg!
Berg scored 2 goals yesterday against Utrecht in their 3-1 win.
