TSL Week 23: Fenerbahce vs. Bursaspor

We play Bursa at home, they're never easy and i feel they're gonna cause us a lot of problems.

We tend not be motivated enough after European games and lose points because of it.

Our only absentee will be Carlos who will more than likely be replaced by Vederson. Which means Maldonado can play instead of Selcuk without having to take out Kezman.

^ true, but before those games, no one thought Kezman could do it because he didn't really impress for like 5 months straight. But to be honest here... Kezman is Serbia's best striker. He is a great effin player

If we relied on Kezman, we would've finished at the bottom of our group in the group stages of Champions League. So.. unreliable.

He's been playing good lately though.. I wonder how long it will last. I give it no more than 5 matches before he starts as a sub again. Don't forget that it was Semih that saved us against Sevilla. Won't be long before he gets back his position as a starter.

To me, they can both be as useful as the other. Depends on the opponent, I would play one as much as the other. Semih waited so long to be in the starting 11, and I think he deserves it.. he's just as skilfull as Kezman, just more reliable.

wow, if i've ever seen a crooked ref, it has to be Bunyamin Gezer and his assistant refs. Some of the worst decisions and unwarranted yellow cards were given out and that bs penalty. Todays game goes on the list of fixed games which has the May 14 Denizli incident, and i believe it was last years bjk cup game Selcuk dereli reffed.

Again Ali Bilgin, Kemal, Onder showed how useless they were.

Dont get how Ilhan could mess up that goal oppurtunity he had in the 1st half.

We started to attack more after Alex and Deivid joined in but the retarded ass mistakes done in the midfield and how the guys at the end refused to do anything productive and positive kind of made it pointless. Yasin and Can must be the worst CB combo I've ever seen on this team. They have no idea what each other are doing. Onder was really bad compared to his previous performances. Gokhan Gonul deserves that jersey 10x more than him right now that's for sure. Aurelio, aside from a few mistakes, was the man who kept the back of the team intact. Ugur's retarded attempts at trying to run at defenders while there's already some wide open space to cross drew me insane. Wederson isn't much better, unfortunately. Ilhan was worse than I expected, along with Semih who couldn't connect the ball with anyone. Kazim started ***king up towards the end and he can't be mad about being taken out of play. Alex tried but thanks to some players deciding to act like morons (cough Ali Bilgin, Kazim, Semih, Ugur cough), none of his attempts made any serious danger. If that freekick went in, maybe we could've turned the tables around but meh.

GS will win tomorrow and it will seal Fener's fate. I guess finishing 2nd isn't that bad. :(

lol its week 23 mate, season is far from over. I expect gs to lose points here and there along the way. We just have to not lose. Plus if coming 2nd in the TSL means quarter finals or semi-finals in the CL. I'll more than gladly take it

I guess I am speaking too soon but the performances of these subs are really disappointing me. They're playing without any soul or flair. How far can we go in the league, cup, and CL with just the starting 11 and the usual 3 reliable subs?

The starters are more than enough for us, but in case of any injury on the wings, we're screwed. Without Gokhan, we have Onder who seems like he forgot how to play football altogether. Without Carlos we have Wederson who's bearable but of course not as good. Without Lugano or Edu we have Yasin who we still can't fully trust. Without Alex...well there's nobody for him except maybe Deivid. And without Deivid we have to use Kazim who's really, really disappointing me with his careless style. We're set in the CM and ST department, but our left wing is hanging on a thread. Ugur is one of the most inconsistent players out there, and his alternative is Wederson, that is if Carlos is playing. If not, Ali Bilgin takes the left wing which equals to disaster. Ali Bilgin is really the most useless player in the entire squad, along with Can in my book.

GS is going to win their Kasimpasa game and make the pt difference 4, and this is going to make the derbies extra important. We can't afford to lose even one game anymore. GS has to start losing points immediately. Ugh.

next weeks bjk-gs derby has the answers, as long as we demoralize gs during the week and beat ankaragucu over the weekend we are back in the race. And this is assuming if gs win tomorrow.

plus gs play kayseri right after bjk so thats another hard fixture as well.

As long as we do our job i'm more than sure gs will lose points.

It was a decent game. Fener sucked, Bursa sucked less. I say, if Bursa had a more effective counter attacker guy up front, man we would have seen a bigger gap in the final score today.
