For High School Students

Just wanted to ask you guys... when do you get home from school if you don't count extracurricular activities? Here in North Carolina... we get out at 3:35 and till you get home it's 4 PM! Plus we don't have any breaks in school! Plus lunch is only 25 minutes! In Germany, they get out at 2 PM and they have two 15 minute breaks and lunch lasts 1 hour. Plus 80% the time they use in class is fluff that you don't need to know! Ridiculous! Plus in spring... I have soccer practice with my U17 team in Monday and Wednesday and Saturday. They give us 8 hours of school... and you would think you won't get any homework afterwards... but I'm wrong! You get about 1-2 hours of homework each night! Plus, the shit they teach us can be covered in 1/3 the time but Americans are so effin slow!!! :mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2:

I get out at 2:25, and I'm home by 2:45. My first class starts at 7:20 AM and my lunch is also only 25 minutes, but thats plenty of time if you ask me.

You also can't compare German to American high schools. As far as I know 99% of German High Schools use block scheduling, and 99% of American High Schools dont.

Here it all depends...I used to go school from 7.15 til 17.15 with breaks of 10-15-15-10 minutes and 45 mins to have lunch most subjest were mandatory...we had 2days to chose extracurricular activities, but if dont chose u go home around 16.

But that was at my school....in publics ones thing r way diff....I think they go from 8 till 1.30...no lunch at school

And for half-private halfpublic school's pretty much the same

i can read and write bosnian but thats not the hard part...but the hard part is what they teach you and make you do for homework is very hard and teachers are not lenient on grades you either pass or fail,unlike here in america they just pass you to the next grade until like you start high school,than its just slightly different than elementary and middle school

yea i played Basketball last year in school...i was dominating,i was a starter for the "A" team..but i was pissed they didnt have soccer in middle school here......now i am out for soccer my freshmen year....

basically I can't compete with those tall black kids because I'm 5'10"... but I'm a beast at soccer. I don't play for school because I play in U17 city team. It's more professional and you travel anywhere inside the state. We lost the finals ... new practice season starts at spring and tournament in the fall. I can't wait because I'm really fit and I've been training like crazy and I am 130% of what I was in the last tournament... where I practically beasted in the wings. I'm a good basketball player but my height is keeping me back since most other high school students that play the sport are 6'5" and stuff like that.

yeah I saw 1bosnian's picture... he is really tall and sturdy. He looks like a good basketball player... looks 3-4 years older than he is haha no offense (take it as a compliment)

right here the only Balkan people I see are Serbs and rarely Croats. I didn't see a Bosnian in months (except in indoor soccer)... and in indoor soccer, we made a team composed of only Bosnians and we beat teams composed of Serbians, Americans, and Mexicans in an indoor tournament. But then we lost to Mexico 8-5 but there's a big community of Mexicans in my city. They should own everyone.

I get out of school at 2:45, get home around 3:10(because my bus driver can't drive and I don't drive to school because gas costs to much). But I don't go home I go to Football to weight lift so from 2:45 to 5:10, an I'm home around 5:25(my coach gives me a ride). The only days I don't have Football is Wednesdays and Saturdays every other day is football.
