Voronin and Sheva is a deadly combination! Sheva is such a damn good striker when he plays for Ukraine, he always scores!

Serbia need to get their act together... they play like they have 20 kilos attached to their backs... especially Stankovic, he really doesn't perform for Serbia.

That was in the World Cup though. Bosnia never played in the World Cup. Bosnia never played a game that matters. The most watched football game in Bosnian history was the 1-0 loss to Serbia in qualifications for WC 2006. :D

Well Ukraine won 2-0 today. Goals scored by Shevchenko (54) and Nazarenko (57). We had many other chances in the game. Shevchenko also came very close on the 69 with an amazing long shot but Stojkovic got his fingertips on it for a corner. Voronin also came very close to scoring on few occasions but was also denied by the Serbian goalkeeper. I was watching the match and can say that Ukraine looked pretty good, but I don't think Serbia was a major test for them. I think the nextmatch against Netherlands will be much tougher and will test our defence a lot more, which I am most concerned about.

I would say your best player was Stojkovic. He made some amazing saves. Vidic was also very solid for most of the game.

I really didn't expect this. I thought Serbia would draw or beat them, considering all those players they have. I watched the game from beginning to end because I didn't have anything else to do before Bosnian game. 1st half can be portrayed by Ukrainian pressing on Serbian goal but making no big chance on goal, and Serbians counterattacking but losing the ball by the time it comes in the 16-meter line. It was a mediocre 1st half. In the 2nd half, it was all Ukraine, they had the possession most of the time and they created a lot of chances that Stojkovic saved. Nice goals by the way by Shevchenko and Nazarenko, a deserved 2-0 for Ukraine.
