I'm not hoping for much here but as a Rangers I will say 1-1 with Rangers going through on away goals.

Still I fear the case our players will consider the qualification a fact and underestimate Rangers in the second game - from what I saw yesterday Rangers are a team that can do the damage if they are underestimated. But most possibly this isn't going to happen. A 2-0 for Panathinaikos probably.

I don't mean to sound rude but if Boyd and Naismith played last night the score would have been 3-0.

Although you say we won't have much luck in Athens, some of our most famous performances in Europe have came away from home, e.g we were apparently going to get butchered in Lyon and what happened we produced one of our most famous results ever. So don't be so cocky just yet.

I remember the previous time we met, when we drew 1-1 in Athens while we won 1-3 in Glasgow. But the situation is different now, as back then at the time around the Athens game Panathinaikos was in a bad form in Europe.

This season our home UEFA cup games, all teams lost with at least 2 goals difference and none of them managed to score. It is true that they were all teams inferior to Rangers, but after seeing Rangers in yesterday's game I believe that things are going to be tough for you. Underestimation by Panathinaikos is your hope for a good result though.

Exactly..... remember this is a team who beat Lyon 3-0 on the road!! I say 1-1 to Rangers

Thanks for the support :thumbsup: :). I think if we're going to reach the latter stages we'll need quite a lot of luck in the next round which will be (almost definately) against Bremen - they look very good.

I thought they were unfortunate in the CL and am expecting them to go close in this competition. Of course Bremen will be tough. Tottenham could go close too and Everton will fancy their chances.

1-1 I called that....I think Bremen was better last year with Klose.....Although they are still good Rangers have an excellent shot of winning.
