Race to Premier League title

More than half way into the season and it’s safe to say Chelsea are out of the race. Mainly due to the 8 point lagging behind board leaders Arsenal but also because their recent under par performance. Aside from that, the race is still very much alive between Arsen and Fergi. There is still a match to be held at Old Trafford between those two wizards and many more points to be won in the pot. Also considering current 5 point lead, I believe the 1st sign of trouble will harm the stability of Wenger’s perfect team and create a downfall which will ultimately end with United grabbing the title 2nd time in a row. I even am willing to bet on it.

I disagree. Chelsea still have the quality in their squad (in my opinion Anelka could well be the best forward in the league) to challenge Arsenal and Man Utd.

Arsenal are now firm favourites but its definately a 3-horse race..

Why are Chelsea out of the race? That's a silly comment. They can still win the title although I don't believe they will but it's still a possibility. If they are still only a few points behind when Arsenal go to Old Trafford and that ends a draw they're back in with a big chance. Anything can happen yet. Arsenal and Man U aren't going to win every one of their remaining games!

Well paulthegooner, sorry to break it to you but the gunners lost last week all 3 titles and Eduardo da silva. All in one week! and as for the other replies,although I think Grant is doing a good job at Chelsea, they dont believe enough in them-selves and so, no chance 4 championship this year... Just wait and see.... the picture will clear up pretty soon
