@Xizor,go for AVG Anti-Virus.It's free and updates itself daily. It comes with Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, E-mail Scanner, and a few other features and when you search for something on Google or any search engine it quickly scans all the links to make sure their safe to go to. The Link Scan is done in the same amount of time it takes Google to bring the links up so there is no waiting for security. Also the program is really light on your computers memory and space.
