i beat mgs 2 and mgs3.i beat mgs3 before mgs2 and it turned out to bea good thign because turns out that th game came after but the story is inverted.mgs3 happens before mgs2. what doy uo guys think of this series?

1 was my favourite just because it was new at the time and the story was the best. snake eater was 2nd best, then the 2nd release sons of liberty i think its called was not so good. the new one thats coming out for ps3 looks really good!

i never played the first one,i had to put the story together on my own from what i saw in mgs2 and 3. definately,i agree mgs3 is the best one. its kinda sad that mgs4 only came out for ps3. it sucks to all the people that dont have a ps3.not alot of people have it because of its price. i really want to play it but im not about to go and buy a ps3 just for one game.

I enjoyed 2 on the xbox but not really a Japanese game sort of guy. The Splinter Cell series was far superior IMO.

different points of view.slinter cells has better graphics and technical stuff but metal gear solid has a much beeter story and alot more fun to play.

i hope it comes out for xbox 360 mgs4, it would be nice but dont htink it will!

MGS 4 Was not all that - just good gameplay, features and graphics.

The Storyline sucked however and they could of made it much better and more shocking.

MGS 1 Had the best storyline however - it realy had me going crazy after you learn about Naomi Hunter's Step-brother is gray fox and when Donald Miller is realy dead and is impersonated by Liquid Snake.

i agree with you sloboda, mgs1 storyline was just so good. i played it again and again, the graphics and game play on the new one was good, but the storyline was crap, i hated the fact that snake was old from the quick ageing, snake is the man, i diddnt like playing with him like a useless old man.

The thing with the ipod to lower stress levels was clever. the bosses were good ideas but maybe a little over the top and not scary or cool enough. not like ocelot, sniper wolf, exoskeleton ninja, psycho mantis..

was a good game, but the 1st mgs will always be the best. hopefully hideo kojima can make a remake of it with the new graphics, etc. that would be pretty sweet
