Hey Purg,

Since you never seem to fail me buddy I have a few questions for you.

1. What is the chance of J.Simic going to Hajduk?

2. Where do you think Prosinecki is going to go?

3. If I go to Croatia to watch the NT team game against Scotland in Zagreb how much would a ticket cost me for that game and a Champions League game?

4. What are the thoughts of Croats in Croatia about their brothers outside of Croatia?

Please forward all Hajduk questions to me LA CRO:-) Purger can stick to Dinamo, agreed?

Simic is meeting with Branko Grgic as we speak in ZG. He was insulted that Pero Nadoveza (Hajduk's coach) didn't show much interest in him, stating that he is stopping all transfer negotiations. However, Director Surjak and President Grgic release statements to the press stating that this was not true, and that they are still persuing Simic. As I said, Grgic will try to persuade Simic to come to Hajduk while in ZG (he is also meeting wit h President Mesic in regards to Soccer Sanctions within Croatia). There shouild be more info by the end of the week when Grgic returns to Split.

>...Purger, you're next, you got the rest of the questions :)

1. Very low. (He says he has some offers from Spain, and any Spanish lower-rated club could pay him about 10 times more than "Hajduk".)

2. Most probably to retirement home. (I've heard he has an offer from "Brotnjo Citluk". They are a Croatian team from Hercegovina that won the Bosnian championship and will play "Zalgiris" in the first round of Champions League qualifications. If they win it, they get to play "Glasgow Rangers", so they seem to be ready to cough out some relatively high ammounts of money to win the Lithuanians. Maybe they might be the right measure for his present health condition?)

3. Well, if you fly over the ocean just for that game, believe me, the cost of the ticket will be close to nothing. I'd say, about US$ 10-30, depending on which stand do you choose. (And don't count on the Champions League, since "Dinamo" and "Hajduk" have only marginal chances to reach it, see my post in the other topic about it.)

4. Ehrhhhh... I don't get the question? I guess that there are some griefs towards the Croats in Bosnia, but none whatsoever towards the oversees Croats. Does this answer your question?

Thanks guys and Dalmatinac I'll hit you up with the Hajduk questions and leave the rest to Purg.

Purger your answer for the last question is fine. The reason I asked the last question was because a Croat buddy of mine who is a soccer player for a San Fancisco team went to Croatia for the first time last month and it was his first time and he said he loved it and he cant wait to go back but one person he was talking with, and he said he could have been joking but when he said he's a Croat from America the guy said no your not a Croat anymore but American if your born there. But even if he was serious thats a crock cause most Croats out of Croatia feel more Croatian than anything.

Purger can i just ask you why you refer to Brotnjo as a Croatian team from Hercegovina? They are gonna represent Bosnia at the Champions League and i personally will cheer for them, just coz the club is from the predominantly Cro area doesn't mean it's a Cro club. I dont mean to start anything here, just asking, its not a provocation ok? If they are situated in Bosnia are the Bosnian Champion and will represent Bosnia doesnt that mean that they are a Bosnian team? this has nothing to do with religion and politics, but all these things i named about the club spell out to me that its a Bosnian club. If this bothers you just ignore my post, i dont wanna argue just wondering...

Take it easy, Bosanac, it's the question of political correctness versus the simplicity of expression. It's the same as if I would ask you why do you keep calling your country "Bosnia" while its full name is Bosnia and Herzegovina?? (No, don't start answering. It's only rhetorical.)

I'll tell you why because most Croatians in Bosnia think of themselves as Croats and want to be apart of Croatia. You take the peacekeepers out of Bosnia and I bet you over night you'd have a war. Why because many parts of Bosnian soil was and has been parts of Croatian territory for centuries and when i say Croatian I mean Croatian inhabited. Croats should also get more respect in Bosnia because without Croatia and Croatians getting involved in the conflict Bosnia would be called Repuublica Serbia.

ok ljudi, nema frke necu da se svadjam a i nevracam se vise

It's not "MY" country, i dont own it nor do i live there, i was just wondering thats all. I shorten the name of the country coz its easier to write.. but hey that makes me prejudice...... I feel sory for all those people living down there if this is what all the Serbs and Cros feel a part of....history that is...seems to me a Serb's and a Cro's main worry in life is where their borders were hundreds of years ago, what happened to one of their ancestors, how to avenga whatever happened to them and who to do it to.... and i guess we all know the answer to that, must be those people you even refuse to call by their nationality so you simply say MUSLIMS. Oh well what can you do? that's life, no matter how much you think you know a person they will always surprise you with the amount of hatred, anger and despise they have for you, even though they have never met you. Some less than others but they all do in one way or the other. I guess my decision not to come back here anymore is simply because i am sick of hearing those "this is serbia ,this is croatia, this was serbia, this was croatia" phrases. You people should relise that the whole world doesnt revolve around "your countires, areas, lands, borders, history and your freedom fighters." Your countries have a history big deal every country has a history but only a few countries have a future, so thats what people should worry about, the future, and not your level of pride, patriotism and anger. I wish you all good luck in life and its been nice chatting to all of you, even you Miha, you were my only fun around here. And try not to hate each other as much, just do what comes natural to you all, take it out on the Balija thats nearest to you.....
I am Bosnian (and Hercegovinian) but i am also an Australian whose 2 best friends are a Serb and a Cro, you might think i am some nationalist but i aint, i couldnt care less about politics, religion and hatred. I care about my family, friends and the love of my life, coz thats all that should matter to people in life.
Before i leave i will say this to those Serbs who hate me so much, my gf is a Serb from Bosnia (and Hercegovina) as much as you might hate that fact

Let's not bring up the politics guys. We're gonna disagree, obviously, so why bother. Bosanac has been good from I've seen, he just likes to ball bust and have a good time. I love that in a person, I'm a ball buster myself. :)

Bosanac, why are you leaving?
