I was at this cafe/bar today in St. Louis, and Vedad Ibisevic and some guy walked in. At first I wasn't really sure it was him, but when he was leaving, I looked up, and he looked straight at me, and I knew it was him, :D. First time seeing a pro footballer so close.

Shoulda asked him for a autograph, but he was with some people, so I didn't wanna interupt him.

Just thought I'd let you guys know, :D.

I saw a famous person on July too man!

When I was at Charlotte airport going to Germany to visit family, I saw Ric Flair (that old WWE wrestler, lol, I dont watch that show anymore). At first I didn't believe it because he looked so much bigger, but he looked straight at me and I said "hey...you're Ric Flair!" and he said "yes, thats me my man, how's it goin?" and i shook hands with him.

dude Sema, wtf how come you didn't call out "hey sta ima Ibisevic??" since he's Bosnian and you rarely see Bosnians in America. I still cant believe out of 6.5 billion people, you managed to see Ibisevic... someone who lives in Germany and plays there LOLL

PS: does Sopcast sometimes feature Bosnian league games or cup games?????

PSPS: i didnt want to open a new thread on sopcast question because it is an easy short answer question

Nermin, I see more Bosnians then Americans in St. Louis, haha. It was in a Bosnian club, and now I kinda regret not talking to him. Oh well, he didn't fly to America just for tonight, maybe I'll see him later on this week. He probably flew in because of family, or friends, who knows.

Vozdra, yes, St. Louis is nicknamed "Little Bosnia" and theres a shit load of us here.

No, we don't have a part called Little Bosnia. St. Louis IS Little Bosnia.

Also, I don't know man, you ever done or haven't done one of those things you regret? Well, this is mine, :(. He was with some guy at first, and then some girl came, and they left.

Thats a shame you didn't at least get a handshake. Say, what kind of stuff do bosnians do over there in st. louis, there is only like 3k of us here in richmond. Howcome you gies never come to our annual turnir. This year, we ript up the atlanta team 10-0 in the final game. Man, they were pissed, all of them were saying "nesekiraj se, kad doje te u Atlanta, sve ce biti drugacije" l

Lol.....we do all kinds of stuff. Same thing you do in Richmond, except on a bigger scale?....Oh, and the occasional fight with black people here and there for territory

I don't play on any soccer teams here (I'm too fat to, :D) But a lot of my friends do, and they are on tourney's like every month. In a couple of months, my friend is going to Bosnia for a tourney, that will be against clubs from Spain, Italy and other Euro countries. Last year they played in a tourney in Indiana, and dominated everyone, but they got disqualified from the final because on the kids didn't have some kind of insurance which was a requirement. The American team that also made it was so mad that they didn't want to just accept the trophy as a automatic win, that they asked my friend and his team to play them in a unnoficial match for the trophy. My friends team ended up killing them like 6-2, but they let them keep the trophy because they have so many of them, and this one isn't really all that, :D.

I'm jealous that yall got all the bars and kafice, we aint got jack s*** over here. But from the St. Louis that came for a wedding, they said we got hot women so its chill. Fights with black people? LOL Over here, it was more common to see with Mexicans than black, but there was once a fight in the boys locker room. Unsuprisingly, all the bosnians ran out before they were caught :D And when I say turnir, i'm not talking about kids (18-20) Our team has a 25,26,27 years and older mixed in with some kids. We won the cup a couple times for indoor and outdoor.

I also notices that a lot of Atlanta and St. Louis bosnians still wear *i99er clothes (baggy and s***). Most of the bosnians over here got on polos and wat not.
