A lot of fans and the English media have been saying for years the midfield partnership can't work and I'm one who has agreed with them.

Under new management Capello may change the system to accomadate both or he may have to make a tough choice.

For me it would be Stevie G... opinions anyone?

Gerrards a better player id have to say. The thing with Frank is he isnt consistant enough. one day hell chip barcelona goal keeper while hes on his line but then will struggle to score past croatia. Lampard would be a great backup for Gerrard though, its harsh but the truth.

Since they all base of Physical strength mostly,i would say Lampard...A mighty Power House he is.Much more powerful from Gerrard...Gerrard is a bit more creative,but his technical abilities are insignificant...Lampard all the way...
He was recognized by Fifa and he has the guts to play in Italy or Spain.He is quite famous in seria A and La Liga...

I know, Barcelona or some Italian team are constantly harassing Chelsea to sell him to them. But how can you pick Lampard over Gerrard? That's like picking Owen over Rooney!
