TSL Week 17: Fenerbahce vs. Trabzonspor

Last game before winter break. Honestly it sucks we played all our derbys at home in the first half but o well.

TB is unpredictable, they always play pretty good against us but we somehow end up winning.

3 Key players will be out on saturday the 22nd: Lugano, Edu, Dievid

More than likely their replacements will be Yasin, Onder(Can), Ali Bilgin(Kazim)

Since can hasnt played for a while, i doubt he'll start so onder will replace Lugano, but i wonder how comfortable yasin is playing on the left side. Since Ali had a better game then kazim this past week i think he'll get the spot. Ugur might also be replaced by vederson.

Trabzon has been playing some ugly football this season but Ersun Yanal seems to be fixing that. But it's a fact that their team is full of players not deserving to play in the Super League. I think we'll still win, but our defensive line might turn things around for them, because Yasin and Onder have never played side by side. I'm not really worried about the right wing, Ali Bilgin and Kazim are both capable of working that side. Alex will control the score IMO.

Appaih's more than likely going to leave at the break. Heck, he didn't even start against GS (what bigger game is there in the TSL??).

I think he's just not risking injuries and asked Zico not to play him. LoL

I missed the first 6 minutes since i was sleeping, during the 4th minute dievid apparently scored.

then around the 15' minute Semih stole a backpass to the goalie and scored

then at 20' We took a corner and Trabzon counterattacked, yatarra did some moves on Gokhan, he crossed it in, gokdeniz tried to header and barely missed, Volkan didnt dive for the ball cause he thought gokdeniz would hit so it bounced passed him, and ceyhun just tapped the ball in

Yasin and Onder seemed slow today. Gokhan had to pick up after them all game. Carlos is still injured I think, his passing percentage must have been rock bottom. Alex played injured and managed to get a goal in. Semih was awesome, took down every aerial ball, scored, made room. Great performance. Deivid was great after many sub par games. He stayed in the right wing and helped out a tired Gokhan looking after 2 CBs and his own position. Volkan was good. Made right movements. The goals weren't really his fault. Ugur was okay but he needs to work on the mental side of football. Him and Carlos don't seem to be on the same page in most situations. Selcuk was surprisingly good today. As good as Deniz, really. He needs to read the game better offensively but he was good. Aurelio is the usual.

But the whole team had one problem. We couldn't keep enough pressure in the midfield and nobody was passing well today. From Onder to Semih, the passes were really dangerous because we always made the mistakes while trying to attack. The few quick passes between 3-4 players turned into opportunities and we should've kept that up the whole game. We could thank TS for being so passive in the box (since it's only Yattara doing any work).
