Pletikosa instead of Pavlovic, Leko over Vranjes, Boksic (if healthy, if not Baturina, Sokota orRapajic) over Suker, unless we play 3-5-2, where Suker plays along with one of those guys as a secondary. Stimac over Tudor I agree with you, but I would like to see Tudor get some more time in to see if he can improve.

I would also like to see guys like Balaban, M. Bilic, Skoko and Vucko get some time so to see their worth.

But you all forgot the man himself, SLAVEN BILIC!!!!

Ha, ha, ha,... Yes, it does look like a "Hajduk" line-up, :) :)

Pletikosa is way too young to be ready to take a burden of serious qualifying matches. He showed that clearly on the U-21 European championship where his two blatant mistakes costed us the Olympics (and also the medal on the very U-21 Euro). I think that he has to get some time in friendlies and in last minutes of official matches, but for the no.1 we need a more experienced goalie, no metter how much less he might be talented. Goalkeepers ripe slowlier than the other players, and a coach should be cautious while puting them in the team. Many talented young goalkeepers were ruined by being exposed too much.

As for Boksic over Suker... Well, I'd say that you' were right... If there were two Boksics, since one is already in the team, he, he, he,... :D

Baturina??????? Are we talking about the same Baturina who is complèetely hopeless, in any "Hajduk" team before their recent financial problems wouldn't be a ball collector on the sidelines, and is absolutely not any kind of potential for a national team, never was and never will be? ?????

Sokota - still too young, and I also think that there will be problems with his inclusion into the national team, since he's a bit slow (even slower than Suker), so the whole team should adjust to him, and also one should find him the most suitable role. (I think Susak was quite successful with this in our U-21 NT.)

Rapajic - being out of form in last year.

Balaban - still too young.

M. Bilic, Skoko and Vucko - Is this a joke? (That would be the same if I, as a "Dinamo" fan, would say that Abramovic, Mujcin, and Krznar should start for NT. Mind you - Mujcin is a foreign citizen, playing for the foreign country's NT, just like Skoko.)

S. Bilic - Nobody is greater fan of him than me, but his health (hip) simply does not alow him to play in any serious competition. (There is also a legal matter of the indemnity he got from an Englich insureance company while leaving "Everton". I think I've heard that one of the conditions for payment was that he never plays for NT in his life.)

I realy don't care who plays for the NT, we all know who our stars are, and who would benefit the team most. however, I would like to see the younger guys get a little more active in the NT role. Even training with the NT would benefit them. These are the guys we have to depend on for the next 2 world cups, it's time to season them, no? but we all know Ciro and his ways. Wih Ciro as the coach,Suker will be the starting striker as long as he can walk.

Let me ask you guys one question. Do any of you think that Ciro took a dive for the world cup match against France? I would like to hear what you guys think about that...

No dive (if you mean threw the match). Our boys would not allow that. They played their hearts out for their people-US!!!

Hell Nah, that match according to a soccer magazine I read last year was ranked the 7th best World Cup game of all time. I have it recorded and the last 20 minutes is wicked. That match was the World Cup finals cause look how France owned and destroyed Brazil. We put up a fight to the last minute. I honestly feel that if Prosinecki started we would have won the match.

I don't have to "think" about it at all. I was there on the stadium and I can tell you that all those silly talks about "diving the match" are rubbish.

I don't see a "dive" either. Can you see a guy like Boban agreeing to that? I can't. Bilic wouldn't have played so hard if it was all for nothing.

Ciro couldn't take a dive unless these guys were in on it.

I think all of them have too much pride to even consider that.
