Personally I think so.
Give him time he will. IMO he is the best man for that job at the moment. He knows how to build a team and he knows how to motivate a team.
Brazil will qualify, and they will again shine in the WC!!!!

That resumé is incomplete.
Scolari also won several Brazilian Cups (by small-team Criciuma, Gremio, and Palmeiras, if I'm not mistaken), one Libertadores by Palmeiras (I'm sure of that one) and one Brazilian championship by Gremio. There may be more I'm forgetting.

I hope Scolari is the right man to do the job for Brazil.
I am wondering if he has considered inviting Djalminha into the national team?? IMO, Djalminha was the best player in the Spanish league last season and one of the most creative players in football today. The fact that Juventus was interested in signing him (despite his questionable character) says a lot about this player.
Another player got my attention, and it is Emerson from Deportivo La Coruna. He also had a great season and I believe he should be at least tested in some friendlies. If nothing else, Mauro Silva is getting very old and Emerson could be the right substitute for him.

It seems Scolari is in fact going to call Djalminha.
La Coruna's Brazilian international was visited this week by Scolari, who consulted Djalminha and his coach. The midfielder is recovering from injury, but apparently he's been doing very well.
Djalminha would be called to be the team's most advanced playmaker, a job that Rivaldo performed until he was put in attack by Scolari. The first choice was Juninho (who used to be at Atletico Madrid), who failed to impress. Alex was tested too, and also disappointed. Now Scolari seems to believe Djalma can do the job.
Let's hope so.:dontcare:
