WC(2010) Qualifiers "Group of Death"

So now we know that Australia has been podded into a tough group, already labeled the 'group of death', together with China, Iraq and Qatar.

Frankly, I think it's better that we have strong competition from the start, unlike other WC qualifying tournaments.

Thats why maybe Australia should have been better off if they didn't join the Asian group. I like them in Asia because i considered them Asia Pacific but it's a lot tougher for them to qualify now than it used to be :)

I think its a good draw for the Aussie's, they wont have to deal with humid conditions, they will just have to adapt to the dry heat. I can see the Aussie's going through undefeated (they may draw a game or 2).

n and s korea are indeed in the same group, i think both will make it out. n korean football is underrated.

i think australia, like england is overrated. they'll make it out of their group, but i don't think 1st place is guaranteed, esp with iraq in there.

china always sucks, so i wouldn't worry about them.
