I just found out that barca bought german defender Lahm from bayern munich does anybody know if hes coming sooner than 2009

As far as i know Philip Lahm has no plan of leaving bayern until his contract expires in summer 2009. Bayern is still in need of him so they won't be negotiating any deal on lahm till then.

Don't worry i honestly think this is just a rumour. Barca was showing an interest thats all. Even bayern director's Uli Hoenes, has denied this saying there is no way lahm leaving the club without consulting the club. Plus bayern has no attention of letting him go.

If this is true Lahm would be a great tranfer, the last time I saw him play was in the 2006 World Cup and he had some solid games. He's really consistant and would really help out our defense.

Yeh he's good but he's not leaving bayern..it would be a mistake to transfer from bundesliga to the spanish league. He wouldn't survive or will have hard time adjusting. It's a lot easier to adapt from the spanish league to the bundesliga than the other way around. He'll think a lot before leaving bayern to another club.!!
