The upcoming game against Malta is going to have a celebrative character, as it is the last game of the qualifiers in Greek soil after the qualification was secured.

This was the game that secured Greece's qualification to Euro 1980. That's the first qualification of Greece to the finals of the European Championship. Greece's goal was scored by Takis Nikoloudis in the 26th minute.

This game secured the only qualification of Greece to a World cup. The World cup of 1994 in USA. Nikos Nioplias scored in the 68th minute under an audience of 60,000 fans.

I get to watch this game and relax and enjoy every minute of it. When Greece usually plays Im a nervous reck. Not this week. I get to lay back and ENJOY. I do hope we win and we should but even if we dont it wont bother me. The only thing these games count for is the Fifa rankings since we are in seed 1 for the euro cup, and seed 2 for WC qualifiers and cant really change that.
