All of us know where we were when we watched the Croatia-yug game in Zagreb. I was in the Croatian Center in Vancouver it was my 2nd day in Vancouver and I think the official count was 3600 people were crammed in the Center. I'll never forget the atmosphere in that match with the Vukovar being chanted and my buddies dad who was in Croatia at the time told me that the BBB were on one side of Maksimir and the Torcida were on the other singing songs back and forth to each other. The weather was hot and before the game everyone was predicting a 5-0 thrashing but damn we should have won that game. To me that game is like the 94 World Cup finals for Italians when Baggio missed the penalty kick. You guys tell me your story on that match.

I don't have the best memory, but I was watching at a place in Oakville called Monoghans. I would have watched it at Lotos in Stoney Creek but I had to go a family function in Streetsville right after the game, so I wanted to be closer.

It was pretty packed, I never counted, but the place is pretty big and there was almost room to stand. The atmosphere was great for half the game, we were all drinking hard, like we do at every game. Boksic's goal obviously was the best moment, not only for Cro, but it was nice to see Alen score. He sure played great that game.

In the end it was a let down, but jebiga, life goes on, worse things can happen.

pro-I watch most of the games at Monaghan's too. It's a pretty good atmosphere there.
