TSL Week 12: Kayserispor vs. Fenerbahce

Its never easy playing against Kayseri and especially at their home. They are 5th right now. But as Fenerbahce we need this win to grab 1st or 2nd place but thats only if GS or Sivasspor lose.

We have 22 points they have 25, them losing and us winning would tie us up for 1st before the 2 week National Team break.

Alex wont be playing cause he wants his injury to heal so he will get two weeks of rest which is good. Lugano and Dievid will go back in.

And probably Ali Bilgin will start instead of Alex.

I thought Tumer would start instead of Alex. I think Ali Bilgin should stay as a sub for now. He's proven that he isn't ready to take the whole 90 minutes, especially replacing the most important player on the pitch.

It will be an interesting match. Kayseri has certainly made its impact in the last few years and its not easy playing them. They have a great counterattack with a nice forward and midfield lineup.

I also think Tumer should get a chance instead of Bilgin.

Let's just see if Kayseri will play football unlike the rest of the teams in the TSL. (prolly will though).

omg cant believe i missed the game, i thought it started at 1 pm, damn it.

we lost 2-1, edu got a red card 10 minutes after semih scored the first goal. damn it now we have 6 points between the leaders and us

Edu got sent off for no reason.
It took Ragip nearly 90 minutes to get a yellow.
Lugano was fouled in the penalty box but Kayseri was given the foul instead.
The sideline ref showed how fair he was by not shaking Carlos' hand. The referee than warned him and forced him to shake Carlos' hand. What the hell is going on with these refs?

And about Fener:
In the 2nd goal for Kayseri, Carlos' big mistake (trying the offside technique) got Mehmet Emin wide open. I can't tell if it was an offside or not, I think it could have been called both ways (looked more like it was fair) but I wouldn't expect a huge mistake like that from Carlos. Nazar boncugu olsun. :)
Gokhan played with a twisted ankle and still played without mistakes. He's still doing great.
Yasin was good until the end when he tried to hide the ball from Mehmet Emin and almost got us down 3-1. Other than that he was good.
Lugano was the man of the match in my opinion. He tried to cover the defense well after Edu's dismissal, and tried helping the offense occasionally. He didn't set a foot wrong the whole match. And he managed to not get yellow carded even after Edu got sent off.
Aurelio was almost nowhere to be found after Deniz got subbed for Yasin.
Appiah couldn't do much besides that assist.
Wederson was nowhere, just like Aurelio. He made some good runs on the left with Carlos, but other than that, nothing.
Carlos had the most load, I think. He had to cover his spot in the defense, cover Edu's spot along with Lugano and Gokhan, tried to move up in place of Aurelio since he wasn't doing much. Helped out Wederson on the left wing. He had a big mistake in the second goal but he worked hard and that's good enough for me. I bet the media is going to throw him in the fire, though.
Semih scored, but since we were left with 10 men so early, we couldn't attack much anyway, so he wasn't able to do anything.
And finally, Volkan had a good game. None of the goals were his fault.

Overall, it could have been a good match, but Kayseri decided to play rough, the ref didn't want to give out cards to them, the same ol' usual referee mistakes, Fener's inability to get back into the game from the red card, the lack of motivation, Kayseri's extreme motivation resulted in a 2-1 score. Am I disappointed? Yeah. The team played so well on Wednesday, I thought there'd be enough motivation left to get through a Kayseri away game. I still believe we'll take the top spot before the first half of the season, however.

WOW i just saw the "handball" edu got his 2nd yellow for, and this is just ridiculous, the ball hits him on the hip and hes gets a damn yellow, the tff better remove his one game ban like they did with Rustu's ban.

i am disgusted with the refs, they know nothing, this league is so corrupt in GS way that it is disgusting.

while GS is getting bs penalties and offside goals in the lig and when they play in european competition they get beaten by teams like rosenberg 3-2 or tromso, u know y? Cause GS is so used to freebies that they dont know how to score anyway else.

the PFDK have already said they wont even take that into consideration for any kind of punishment, so no punishment for carlos.
