There is no stress for a good result in the two remaining games for the Euro 2007 qualifiers, so they will be a good chance of Rehagel to make some trials.

I hope he calls all the young kids. these teams will be going for wins to improve there draw for WC qualifier so it would be a giid test. Its exactly what I hoped for. Qualify with games remaining.

It is great isnt it, i think im actually going to enjoy watching these games knowing that we have already qualified. My heart wont be racing and i can just relax and watch the boys kick some ass.
I would like to see some new faces as well (maybe on the bench) but we still have to put our best players on the park to acheive a better seed for the WC 2010 qualifying campaign.
Is there any friendlies coming up??, thats a perfect time to give others a chance.

The game against Malta is going to be the 74th game of Otto Rehhagel with the National team of Greece. He is reaching the 74-game record of Alketas Panagoulias. The game against Hungary will be his 75th so he is going to be the manager that coaches in Greece for the biggest duration.

The game is going to start in a few minutes. From what I can see on TV they are about 30,000 people in the stadium.

I kinda don't want Greece to win this since they will have 28 points and make every other team in the group look like retards on the field.

I understand you Saraj :D. However the point difference is representative of the form of the teams this season. And Malta is too weak for taking a result from Greece away, except if the very difficult thing happens.

Gekas had 2 more chances after his 3rd goal. They are 5 minutes left though, I think one more goal is the most that is possible.

They are still several months till the Euro though. Rehhagel has to follow the form of the players as time passes.

What is also notable is that Nikos Spyropoulos made his first ever appearance with the National team in this game. He showed good signs.

What is also notable is that Nikos Spyropoulos made his first ever appearance with the National team in this game. He showed good signs.Yea Spyropoulos is probley our best LB at the moment. Howevor I don't know why Otto plays Torosidis in the left back instead of Spyropoulos as Torosidis is a midfielder and not an LB! Torosidis would be so much more valuable for us if he plays in his midfield position.

Dellas is out because he reached the card limit. Goumas and Torosidis will bbe also left out of the squad because of injuries. For the first eleven we don't know what Rehhagel has in mind, if he is going to make many changes in comparison with the previous game.

Hungary-Greece 1-1 half time score.
Both were own goals. Bad game for Greece, I think the last time we saw Greece playing like this was in the game against Albania in 2005. In this game we had a quarter we were better, but in general we did not show anything special. The problems in the defense are also many. Let's see how big will be the recovery in the second half.

Hungary-Greece 1-2 final score.
Probably the worst game for Greece in the qualifiers of Euro 2008. Even worse than the first game against Turkey. The 3 points and the win is what we have to keep though.
Final summary in 12 games: 10 wins-1 draw-1 lose
