I live in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States and I'm moving to Germany next year because I can't stand the American Football and Baseball culture here and the lack of life and pride in this nation including the war and that other shit with Bush. baseball is a game for mathematicians but it doesn't require much speed and power if you are accurate enough. everyone in america knows Babe Ruth and he's a legend right? but he's overweight and can't run fast. you can't have an overweight professional athlete. although i find baseball players more accurate at things because they are used to it, i dont find the sport attractive or appealing. soccer has it all, speed, technical ability, power, dribbling, heading, crossing, etc.

i don't play soccer everyday but i have speed and average skill - and nobody can dribble pass me

in baseball it's different even if you have speed it will not save you

Personally, I don't think he's good enough to play for our NT and he's already 25 years of age, while we have amazing youngsters ready to jump in the senior squad (many already did since 2-3 games). Our FA, though, lacks vision to find good players of Serbian origin in other countries, like Sweden. Look at Bojan Krkic (BOJAN on his jersey) at Barcelona, only 17 year old and just scored a goal against Villareal yesterday, but he's playing for Spain... Marin from Germany who played for Europe in the Meridian Cup against Africa along with all the best European players of his age). Philippe Senderos, Switzerland's captain is also one of those players. Luckily, we got Kuzmanovic who was Switzerland's u21 captain but opted for Serbia. Stevan Jovetic, Igor Burzanovic and Mirko Vucinic, Montenegro's Top3 players, were also eligible to play for us instead of Montenegro, but we never gave them a call. Pity and shame.

the balkan countries do not have great scouting like germany and england. they dont look at players and try to convince them to play for their country. they dont take the time to research them and search them and see how they play and stuff. they ignore them.

It's funny with Montenegro, they have played like 39 different players in the few matches they have played? I think they just want to pick up every possible player even if they are not good now, but become good later so Serbia doesn't pick them up haha!

Also about Bojan, his dad is Serbian and his mom is from that part of Spain that wants to break away from Spain, I keep forgetting the name. Although its unlikely he will join Serbia, he has spent his childhood playing with Spanish kids and if he chooses Spain its probably where he feels the most comfortable playing and it won't be like the Ibrahimovic situation with BiH.

One reason Montenegro is quite good for their small population is that whatever Serb cannot join the Serbian national team because he's not good enough, he joins the Montenegrin national team. Montenegro is basically like a Serbian reserve team. Most of the players were born in present day Serbia. Yeah, I wasn't saying Krkic was half half to offend you lol :) :D if you thought of it that way sorry. It bothers me that whenever someone is half half, they choose the western countries of Europe to play with.

FC Internazionale Milano striker Zlatan Ibrahimović has been named Sweden's player of the year for 2007.

Excellent form
The 26-year-old, who also won the award in 2005, has been in exceptional form for the Italian champions this season, scoring seven times in Serie A already to add to the 15 he struck to help the Nerazzurri clinch the Scudetto last term. He is also the joint-leading scorer in the UEFA Champions League with Manchester United FC's Cristiano Ronaldo, having scored four times in as many games to propel Inter to the top of Group G.

Ibrahimović ended his self-imposed exile from the Sweden squad in March and has played an important role during the latter stages of his country's UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifying campaign. Sweden go into their final qualifiers away to Spain and at home to Latvia next week top of Group F and needing just a point to make sure of their place in Austria and Switzerland.
