Pape and barbarez01, if you look carefully, yes the pool IS number 4-5-6-7 but I don't see where 1-2-3 are and if you look, the pool doesn't seem to have enough space for those 1-2-3 lanes. The pool seems to small from what I see in the picture.
Also, it could make a lot of sense that this is the only pool where you can play waterpolo in Sarajevo. It's surprising how BiH doesn't have a Montenegro team as the countries it borders are the number 1, 2 and 3 in the world. :D

Yeah my bad Nermin. :D Replace "Montenegro" by "waterpolo".

In the picture above (I saved the picture as really quality so it could be a bit hard to see) each of the lines represents a lane. you can probably see it better in the picture on the previous page. At the end of each lane there is a starting block. just look a bit closer. i circled them in red.
its just the position/angle of the camera thats giving the impression of a smaller pool.

I know that Vozdra and I saw the circles you made, but it's still very strange to me how for example lane no6 and lane no7 can be so far apart (they seem to take up for 4 lanes instead of 2). Anyways, surely just an illusion, but probably the greatest illusion I've seen in my lifetime.

"BUICK RIVIERA" WINS SARAJEVO FILM FESTIVAL
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_9Lw9saZFpNY/SLLVth-IxoI/AAAAAAAAAm4/6ekt4JnUgiw/s200/buick-riviera-sff.JPG
SARAJEVO, Bosnia (August 25,2008) - A film about one Bosnian and one Serbian immigrant to the United States was chosen on Saturday as the best movie at the 14th Sarajevo Film Festival. The jury, chaired by Turkish film director Nuri Bilge Ceylan, awarded "Buick Riviera" by Croatian film director Goran Rusinovic and based on a novel by Miljenko Jergovic with the 25,000 Euro (US$37,160) Heart of Sarajevo Award.
The film tells the story of a Bosnian and a Serbian who meet on a deserted road in the United States. They spend the next 24 hours together, engaging in a psychological game of mutual accusations which will change their lives for good, just like the war they had both fled.
"To receive this award is a great honor both for the crew and the festival itself," Rusinovic said.
"Buick Riviera" was selected from 10 films from Austria, Bosnia, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey which competed at the southeastern European largest film festival.
Leon Lucev and Slavko Stimac were chosen as best actors for their role in the film. The best actress award went to Ayca Damagaci for her role in "My Marlon and Brando" by Turkish director Huseyin Karabey.
The nine-day festival showed 174 films and documentaries. The Sarajevo Film Festival was launched near the end of the 1992-1995 Serbian,Montenegrin and Croatian aggressions against Bosnia and grew into the biggest regional film festival and one of the top ten in Europe.

They invested about $40 million and in return they got less than $1 million. Okay, maybe I exaggerated when I said 'hundreds of millions' but they did lose millions of dollars.
No Man's Land is a good movie and I have the DVD at home but it's nothing too special. It's not like it has some amazing storyline or anything like that. It just went to show the reality of the civil war in BiH at the time. As I said, the movie is more of a comedy than anything else.

Alright folks, it's Pr0s here aka Nele reporting live (no, not really) from the annual Richmond Bosnian Tournament (also has different teams apart from Bosnian ones[I correctly predicted that non-bosnian teams would get destroyed]). Looks like the Bosnians from up north(Hartford, Connecticut) took it this year after failing for the last two. The Richmond Bosnian squad was split into two, young and old. It's a shamge, because the old can't run and have no conditioning and the young are inexperienced. Atlanta was exepctedly in the final four again, putting in a strong showing. (They actually have their own stadium there in Atlanta which is shared with the other Bosnian team, Ljiljani. The team that participated was BosnaMarket. My dad told me that the two clubs have derbies in which 500-600 people show up to watch.) Next year, yours truly will be playing :D.
Afterwards, we had a muzika. Yours truly was at the scene, and let me tell you guys, it was banging. Plenty of hot girls. Too bad the ticket to get in is $20 and once you are inside, drinks are too expensive with one red bull costing $5. Yours truly could not test out the alcoholic drinks since he is underage. Plenty of smoke, sweat, and ass in that party folks. Until next year, Peace Out.

America is a lazy country but they are one of the most developed, and pretty much anything that comes out of a serbian post is just them trying to say how much better they are then us.

I think you should use the term Bosniaks instead of "Bosnians" or "Muslims." You see, all three groups, Bosniaks, Croats, and Serbs are Bosnians (Bosanci). There is a difference between ethnic heritage and nationality. The only problem is many of the Bosnian Serbs and Bosnian Croats do not consider themselves Bosnian at all, even nationalistically.

REMAINS OF 277 GENOCIDE VICTIMS EXHUMED FROM A MASS GRAVE IN EASTERN BOSNIA
KAMENICA, Bosnia (September 15,2008) - Remains believed to be those of 277 genocide victims from the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica, mass murdered by the genocidal Serbian fascist aggressor during the 1992-1995 Serbian aggression against Bosnia, have been exhumed from a mass grave in eastern Bosnia, a Bosnian forensic expert said today.
“So far we have exhumed 97 complete and 180 incomplete skeletons,” Murat Hurtic of Bosnia’s Missing Persons Commission told press.
The exhumation of the remains from the site in Kamenica village, near the eastern Bosnian town of Zvornik, began in mid-August and is expected to continue for at least another week, Hurtic said.
It is the 10th so-called secondary grave found in Kamenica, where the genocidal Serbian fascist aggressor brought bodies of the genocide victims to cover up the mass murder of 10,000 Bosnian civilians from Srebrenica - Europe’s worst atrocity since World War II.
The genocide victims were initially buried in a dozen mass graves. But after the release of satellite pictures showing large portions of freshly disturbed ground, the genocidal Serbian fascist aggressor moved them to other locations in order to cover up the crimes. The body parts were separated during reburial using bulldozers, and forensic experts sometimes found parts of a single person buried in three different so-called secondary graves.

I cussed him out "jebem ti mater u picku... pederu jedan, odakle offsajd jebote", he gave me a yellow because he assumed I was cussing him out and I was making gestures... then I said "mars u picku materinu, ti demek neki referee, mozes da se najedes naj crno parcet moje govno" and my friends were laughing so hard, LOL. Then I got a red card  My friends were cracking up so much lol. Then like 2 minutes later when it was just about to end, there was a ball coming on the sidelines for our opponent to throw it in... and I felt like doing something stupid and I kicked the ball at him and the ref gave my coach a yellow.

Turkey support's the Serbian Military which carried out war crimes and genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Serbia-Montenegro, Turkey Sign Agreement on Military Co-operation
07/09/2004
An agreement signed by the defence ministers of Serbia-Montenegro and Turkey in August is the first of its kind that Serbia-Montenegro has reached
with a NATO member. By Igor Jovanovic for Southeast European Times in Belgrade - 07/09/04
Under the agreement, Serbia-Montenegro will have Turkey's support when it comes to military equipment supplies, Turkish Defense Minister Vecdi
Gonul said. [AFP]
Turkish Defence Minister Vecdi Gonul's visit to Belgrade last month resulted in an agreement on military co-operation. Signed by Gonul and his
Serbia-Montenegro counterpart. Prvoslav Davinic, the deal is the first of its kind that the state union has reached with a NATO member.
Davinic said he and Gonul had agreed on mutual visits by military representatives of the two countries, and that specific avenues of co-operation would soon be arranged. The Turkish defence minister left open the possibility of Serbia-Montenegro having its own display at the military
equipment fair in Ankara next year. Serbia-Montenegro will have Turkey's support when it comes to military equipment supplies, Gonul pledged.
The deal will provide opportunities for the Serbian military industry, which currently cannot find markets for its products, says analyst Zoran Dragisic.
According to Dragisic, the Serbian military industry has much to offer NATO countries, including high-quality ammunition for virtually all sorts of weapons. Once a major exporter, the industry foundered following Slobodan Milosevic's rise and the subsequent period of conflicts and international
sanctions.
The Turkish defence minister's visit was also important in terms of the countries' political ties. Relations between the two countries "are for the
time being very good," Gonul said. While in Belgrade, he also met with Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, President Boris Tadic, and Serbia-Montenegro Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic.

Rick Astley up for 'Best Act Ever' at MTV awards
He’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’… so keep Rickrolling!
Birth name - Richard Paul Astley
Born - February 6, 1966
Genre - Pop
Occupation - Singer-songwriter
Instrument - vocals, Guitar, drums, keyboards
Voice type - Bass-baritone
Years active - 1985-present
Label - Sony BMG
Associated acts - FBI
With his rich, deep voice, Rick Astley became an overnight sensation in the late '80s with his well-crafted dance-pop.
Astley was discovered by the producer Pete Waterman in 1985 singing in the English soul band FBI.
After that, Waterman's production team -- Stock, Aitken & Waterman -- took Astley under their wing, writing and producing such impeccably crafted pop singles as Never Gonna Give You Up and Together Forever.
After two hugely successful albums in the U.S. and the U.K., Astley grew tired of being labeled Stock, Aitken & Waterman's puppet and severed his connections with the team; he resurfaced in 1991 with the soul-injected Free, which contained the Top Ten hit, Cry for Help.
The Rick Astley Debate!
Does he deserve his MTV EMA nomination or has Rickrolling gone too far?
Rick Astley is up for Best Act Ever at the MTV Europe Music Awards this November and it’s certainly causing a lot of debate in offices around the country.
The great man’s nomination seems to be down to the internet phenomenon ’Rickrolling’- where people post his videos and seemingly vote for him to win prizes!
False links to youtube have tricked people into watching his classic 1987 hit Never Gonna Give you Up over 20 million times.
But whether Astley belongs in the same category as Madonna and Green Day has caused controversy.
And with voting for the awards up to the public the Rick-rolling craze looks likely to continue. Who knows if he’ll be taking home one of our prestigious prizes in Liverpool on November 6!

IMO dunking isn't anything special. I'm 6'4 though so maybe it's a little different for me, but look at the all time greats in basketball, Bird, Sir Chareles, Nash, Kidd, Marovic, ect. none of them could dunk, but are considered all time greats. Technique>jumping/dunking ability.

I gotta disagree i think both shows are losing their funniness pretty fast especially family guy.
The Family guy seasons before it was originally canceled were amazing and hilarious but the 'new' seasons are pretty dumb with crazy story lines and overkill of jokes, i still love many of the flashbacks and stuff but its not the same from the 1st few seasons. They just go way to far to get a laugh.... oh and when they start singing i immediately change the channel and don't come back.
So in the end: Southpark>Family
why? because of the warcraft, Scientology, Mormonism, wii, 'who is Eric Cartmens father?', when they're all ninja's, all the halloween episodes, the crips, and just so many more hilarious episodes. Family guy cant compete.

BOSNIAN STATE PARLIAMENT TO DECIDE ON PROPOSAL FOR NEW LYRICS FOR BOSNIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM BY THE END OF 2008
SARAJEVO, Bosnia (October 8,2008) - Proposal of the new lyrics for the Bosnian national anthem should be in parliamentary procedure by the end of 2008 and commission for selection should complete the procedure by choosing one proposal which will be sent to the parliament.
The commission composed of the members of the Bosnian State Parliament, renowned writers and music authors on Monday concluded a competition procedure opened in June and started the reading process and rating of proposals.
Public competition was answered by 339 proposals which will be reviewed by the commission and select the best ten for the second round. The best one will be delivered to the Bosnian State Parliament for a final decision and author of the text will be rewarded with 30,000 Bosnian Marks.
Good news for BiH - we will get a new national anthem and it will bring extra fun and patriotism during our football games
It's about time lol. Why did they change Jedna si Jedina in the first place?

hvala, i'm a sophmore but I play about 50% of the games so I'm glad. mind I mention you that 14 of the 18 players are seniors... 2 are juniors and 2 are sophmores. next year... we are screwed, lol. our JV sucks and our 14 seniors are gone.
my thoughts about the playoffs:
Ciro: jebat cemo im mater
samo jebi... jedan do drugog lol

where do you play? are these state playoffs?
nb-legenda
10-24-2008, 05:04 AM
well we won the conference for our regions
the winners go to playoffs... theyre statewide
i played in east charlotte high the first week but then moved up north and i play in ragsdale high and they accepted me but as a JV player but then my dad begged the coach to see me play a pickup game with some other bosnians in this public soccer park and see how good i am and he accepted me to the team lol. i didnt attend tryouts as i moved to a different school in the middle of season so he put me in JV straight away, but then after seeing me play outside the school, he had a change of heart.
then the first 4 games or so, he wasn't encouraged and he gave me like 10 minutes of playing time, so my dad was like "spucat cu ti samar ako ne bidnes radijo dobro danas" lol, so that kinda got me motivated and i played very good in this one game and now he's giving me 40 minutes of play each game (20 minutes each half). high school game is 80 minutes long. our high school team is monstrous though. everyone is good, and the worst player could easily be the best player in the team. this team beats every other team in the conference like 5-1, 4-0, 3-0, 6-1, 7-1, etc. because there are so many seniors here.

^ damn
that's nice though - if you keep it up you'll be like the St Louis Kid
my high school team sucked - I was the best player my freshman year and then the leader and captain the rest of the years
played at Centre Forward spot for high school - defense and midfield at the club level

well to tell you the truth... only the last 2 games I played 40 minutes out of 80. the rest were ranged between 10-30. gradually more and more minutes while the season went along.
what was ur worst high school loss ? lol
mine was 7-1 last year when I played JV... and 4-0 when i played for east charlotte high varsity. i played 60 minutes but none of us could complete one pass lol.

Well now I am in 7th Grade, about the time where you join JV. In washington Middle School goes from 6th to 8th and High school 9th to 12th I guess I am going to skip 11th and 12th since there is running start here and its actually a lot better! my sister did it and a lot of bosnians are doing it.

lol don't worry too much about playing time and stuff until you get to high school; but make one thing clear... practice running/acceleration more than skills, it would help to do both, but practice running/acceleration more, before anything. that's what high school soccer is all about.

So I guess I am good, on the weekends I could do some drills, Already I jog about 2 miles.

He currently plays for Charleston Battery in the USL 1st division (American second league). He's one of their best player... during the winter he plays indoor soccer for New Jersey Ironman for the top flight league MISL. His main attribute is the fact that he's very consistent and every game of his is the same. He's never any better or any worse game in and game out. This way... you can always rely on him to give it his all and play the same great tempo he usually does. He also works as an assistant coach for University of Illinois at Chicago soccer team. He's played 17 games for DC United before but having been unready for the top flight, he stepped down to USL... where he stayed for years and still plays there. He's 31.
Thanks alot nermin, really appreciate it

Well... they were... in Sandjak for quite a while, until the Ljajics moved somewhere else (Idk if they're still in contact with each other, I should ask my granddad the next time I talk with him on the phone lol).

In other news I just got back from my first JV game the game ended up 1-0 for my team! I played well today! I scored the winner and this was in the 79th minute, (In JV games we play to 80 minutes) I was so happy that we won because we just beat the predicted Division Champs away!
