Thought I should mention that I for the last six months have kept Norway updated on everything that goes on in bosnian football. From the smallest of transfers, to squads, developments in the FA and various speculations and happenings. On the largest footballforum in Norway you`ll find:
"The bosnians"
http://vg.transact.no/Item.asp?GroupID=117&Group=Fotball+%2D+Internasjonal&ThreadID=1228260&Thread=Bosniakkene&Page=-1#18465240
who later got replaced by
"Susics heritage":
http://vg.transact.no/Item.asp?GroupID=117&Group=Fotball+%2D+Internasjonal&ThreadID=1306402&Thread=Arven%20etter%20Susic
During the process I`ve changed nickname from "Umpierrez" to "Cabdriver". Not that you`ll understand to much about it as everything is written in norwegian, but besides bosnians (and some serbs and croats) living in Norway ethnic norwegians are quite interested in what is going on in bosnian football as well.
I also run a thread dedicated to "Zeljo":
http://vg.transact.no/Item.asp?GroupID=117&Group=Fotball+%2D+Internasjonal&ThreadID=1290582&Thread=%22Zeljo%22
I do get most of the information from this forum so thanx to everyone who (without their knowledge) are contributing. :)

And yes I agree with you guys... no matter how many times you tell them, they will always be the same...
Delija hates Bosnians with a passion despite him being 25% of that ethnic race. He hates them so much... have you guys realized that whenever he comes here and sees something good about Bosnian players or team, he compares them to Serbian and then he tries to put the Bosnians down and make them feel bad. He's nothing but a jerk. He'll grow up one day and realize what kind of person he is, and he'll lose friends this way. I've never seen such a Serb act this way, especially where I live.

Tenis: Mirza Bašić finalista "Inka Bowla" u Limi
(Datum: 03.02.2008. 23:28)
Mladi bosanskohercegovački teniser Mirza Bašić plasIrao se finale juniorskog turnira "Inka Bowl" ...
u glavnom gradu Perua - Limi.
--------------------
One of the best young tennis players in the world, Mirza Basic (17), beat a Chilean 6:3, 6:0 to qualify for the Inka Bowl junior finals.

What was the most important goal of your career?
Arturo Bass, Mexico
Roberto Carlos: I think it was that curling free-kick in 1997 against France. That image went to every corner of the planet and it was good for me. It wasn't an important game, but that goal was huge for my image.
Roberto, you are the player that inspired me to play more and more of this beautiful game and I have one simple question: what's the secret to your smiling face, game in and game out?

Krst nad Sarajevom - spomenik srpskim žrtvama
Ponedeljak, 10. mart 2008. 14:30

Since this is a shitty thread anyways i'll post
TOP FIVE WUNDERKIDS
Although the current superstars of football are very young, in footballing terms they are already breaking into middle age. So whilst Rooney (22), Fabregas (20), Messi (20) and Ronaldo (23) are hitting their twenties, there is already a whole new batch of teenagers waiting in the wings, ready and eager to step into their boots. So step aside Wayne, Cesc, Lionel and Cristiano - it’s time to find out who are the new kids on the block.
5. Theo Walcott (Arsenal – 18)
The jury is still very much out on 18-year-old Walcott; however, there have been recent signs that he is finally starting to make an impact at Arsenal. Having scored in last season’s Carling Cup Final against Chelsea, he has also scored his first Champions League goals against Slavia Prague at the end of 2007 before finally netting in the Premiership with a brace against Birmingham City. Then there is also his recent performance as a sub in the San Siro to consider as Arsenal knocked AC Milan out of the Champions League.
Of course having team mates of the calibre of Thierry Henry, Emmanual Adebayor, Robin Van Persie and Cesc Fabregas is bound to help the young man and under Arsene Wenger’s tutelage one can imagine the youngster can only improve. Certainly if his finishing could be honed to match his devastating pace, young Walcott will go far.
When you think that he already has one World Cup behind him (despite the fact he didn’t actually make it onto the pitch) and he could end the season clutching a Premiership winner’s medal and possibly even a Champions League medal, the future suddenly looks incredibly bright for Walcott. Very much a case of watch this space.
4. Bojan Krkić (Barcelona - 17)
At 17, already in the first team squad at Barcelona, with a prodigious talent for dribbling and a slight physique, it is easy to see why Bojan has inevitably been labelled with the tag of, ‘the new Messi’. High praise indeed, especially when young Messi is barely out of his teens himself.
So why all the fuss? Well, the teenage Bojan is already breaking records and looks certain to break a few more in the future. He is the youngest ever player to feature in the Champions League (after replacing Messi as a sub against Lyon in September 2007). He is also Barcelona’s youngest ever league goal scorer after netting against Villareal. In fact if he lives up to his potential there will be many more records broken before Bojan hangs up his boots.
On the international front Bojan qualifies for both Spain and Serbia (having a Serbian father and a Spanish mother) and unsurprisingly both countries have shown huge interest in recruiting the teenager. Spain look to have secured his services and with a bit of luck we may just see Bojan this summer at Euro 2008.
3. Alexandre Pato (AC Milan – 18)
Although injury has interrupted the start of his AC Milan career, the fact that the (then) reigning European Champions were willing to splash out some 22 million Euros for a teenager means somebody, somewhere knows something.
The Brazilian teenager, Pato was originally signed in August 2007 but unable to make his debut until January 2008 due to UEFA regulations. However after a handful of appearances and his first goals for Milan an ankle injury stopped his progress but even so the signs were encouraging.
Pato is undoubtedly the future of AC Milan as this ageing team finally starts to break up. However, if he manages to be anything near as successful as his fading colleagues Maldini, Nesta, Inzaghi, Seedorf and co he will have enjoyed some career.
2. Anderson (Manchester United - 19)
Anderson had a quiet start to the season but slowly and surely he has come into his own and when you realise that Paul Scholes was out for over three months of the current season and wasn’t even missed you begin to realise the influence the Brazilian has brought to United’s midfield already.
Tough in the tackle and blessed with wonderful touch and distribution, adding goals to his game has to be his next challenge. However, having already got the better of Cesc Fabregas in United’s two exchanges with Arsenal this season it’s easy to forget Anderson is only 19 and in his first season in England.
If the goals arrive and his form continues on its current trajectory, the retirement of Paul Scholes will surely be hastened, and when it comes to compliments, they don’t get much higher than that.
1. Sergio Agüero (Atletico Madrid – 19)
In breaking the record as the youngest player to play in the Argentine First Division at only 15, the young Argentinian, Agüero, is already following in the footsteps of a certain Mr. D. Maradona.
Signed from Argentinian side Independiente by Atletico Madrid for 20 million Euros in May 2006, Agüero had a slow start to his first season but has blossomed ever since. His partnership up front with Diego Forlan for Atletico has been scintillating this season and ensured that Atletico now rival Barcelona as the great entertainers of La Liga. Aguero’s performances have also meant that former golden boy Fernando Torres hasn’t really been missed, despite the fact he has been banging them in for new club Liverpool.
Having already scored 12 goals in 24 games alongside Forlan (who has a similarly impressive 11 in 23) the Atletico Madrid front two are currently one of the hottest strike partnerships in Europe at the moment. If they continue their fine form Atletico may just be playing Champions League football next season, a competition Aguero is more than fit to grace.

There is nothing wrong with being a Cigan (Gypsy, Roma). They're an ethnic group like any other, so it certainly isn't an insult. Sinter was asking a simple question.
In fact, Red Star fans are often referred to as Gypsies for mysterious reasons. Partizan fans use it as an insult towards us, but all we can say is MI SMO CIGANI, NAJJACI SMO NAJJACI!
Also 13ballack13, please refrain from using Bosnian to express yourself in the future, for the well-being of the forum itself.

nobody said that people from bosnia don't say bre
I said bre is for serbs (and others from serbia) as ba is for bosnians - and I'm telling you that you don't just go out and say bre to a bosnian - when he tells you not to say that to him - you respect his decision and move on and not act as a baby and lie - in an attempt to portray yourself as some kind of victim of some insult - you are a victim but a victim of not knowing some things (to say the least)

Football channels are already there. You just have to know where to look. One great site for all football schedules are here:
http://livetv.ru/en/eventinfo/6113/
Notice the games on the left. (Ignore the Juventus-Milan thing, I favorited that when I found that site)
Click on one of the games and check the channel it is on (If it has the SopCast icon next to it. Now don't get me wrong here, sometimes they don't have some games on SopCast, rather in some other software like RealPlayer).
Then find the channel in SopCast. (It's on LiveChannels tab).
They hardly ever show Serbian league football just in case you wanted to know but big derbies like Partizan-Red Star are sometimes aired.

Ćustić tragedy horrifies Croatia
Thursday 3 April 2008
http://img386.imageshack.us/img386/1442/custicym7.jpg
Hrvoje Ćustić has died at the age of 24. Croatian football is in shock after 24-year-old NK Zadar forward Hrvoje Ćustić died from a head injury sustained during his side's league game against HNK Cibalia on 29 March.
'It's awful'
Ćustić was declared dead today, having never regained consciousness following the blow to his head. The player fell awkwardly after a challenge during the Cibalia match and, as his momentum carried him off the field of play, his head struck a concrete wall beyond the touchline. He was taken to hospital but, despite intensive treatment, his condition began to deteriorate yesterday. "It's awful," said Zadar captain Jakov Surać. "We are all crushed. I have lost a friend and team-mate." All of this weekend's Prva Liga fixtures have been postponed as the nation's football community comes to terms with the tragedy.

BOSNIA'S EXPORT TO TURKEY DOWN BY 44.7 PER CENT SARAJEVO, Bosnia (July 7,2008) - Official statistics show that in the first five months of the year Bosnia’s export to Turkey dropped by 44.7 per cent, which is especially worrying given that Turkey is a country with one of the most developed trade relationships with Bosnia along with the EU.
At the same time, import from Turkey increased by 48.4 per cent. More precisely, the value of Bosnia’s export to Turkey was just 6.8 million Bosnian Marks, while imports from Turkey in the first five months of 2008 reached 411 million Bosnian Marks. June figures do not give reason for optimistic forecast, either.
These Turkish nationalist scumbags are just playing off our country and politicans. They export goods to Bosnia but never import goods and thus make life in Bosnia more harder by the day.
Turkey however imports there European goods from Serbia and Croatia and boosts there economies:boo:
Whilst Turkey buys everything from the main supporter of the Republika Srpska, they sell everything to Bosnia which is poor qaulity and very expensive.
This makes stock go up in RS.
Whilst federation stock goes down.
The Turks are the enemies of Bosnia and Europe ever since they stepped foot here.

Srebrenica reburies 300 victims
Thousands of women came from across Bosnia to mourn their menfolk
Thousands of people from across Bosnia-Hercegovina have gathered in the town of Srebrenica to commemorate the 1995 massacre of 8,000 Muslim men and boys.
As part of the ceremonies, the remains of more than 300 newly-identified victims of the massacre are being buried at a memorial site.
The massacre, by Bosnian-Serb forces, has been classified as an act of genocide by the UN war crimes tribunal.
On Thursday a Dutch court ruled the UN could not be sued over the killings.
The Mothers of Srebrenica group, which represents some 6,000 survivors of the massacre, argued that the UN was responsible for the failure of its peacekeeping force to protect civilians in the town.
Last year I remembered the details... I saw the place where I separated from my brother who was killed
Refik Dervisevic
Massacre survivor
Srebrenica had been designated a UN safe haven, under the guard of Dutch peacekeepers.
The court in the Netherlands ruled it did not have the authority to hear a case against the UN, which is guaranteed immunity in its charter - but said a parallel case against the Dutch government could continue.
The massacre was Europe's worst atrocity since World War II.
The remains of 307 of the victims, aged between 15 and 84, were being reburied during Friday's ceremony.
Thousands of other victims are still waiting to be identified by DNA analysis or exhumed from mass graves in the area.
March of Peace
"It was so hard when they informed me that my father has been identified," said Vanesa Mehmedovic, whose father Mevludin was one of those being reburied.
"However, since he is not with us in a way, I'm glad that his soul will finally find peace," she told the AFP news agency at the ceremony in eastern Bosnia.
Around 10,000 people were expected to converge on the site, using 220 buses that had been laid on, with many more expected to make their own way.
Another 2,000 arrived on Thursday after participating in the 100km (60-mile) March of Peace, from the village of Nezuk to Srebrenica.
Refik Dervisevic, a massacre survivor, said: "This is the third time that I am taking part in the march.
"The first time I did not remember anything. I was just walking being haunted by thoughts," he told AFP.
"Last year I remembered the details from July 1995. I saw the place where I separated from my brother who was killed."

It is 13 years since the Srebrenica Genocide of 1995.
around 10,000 Bosniak men and boys were seperated and killed by the Army of Republika Srpska, Serbian paramilitaries and Orthodox volunteers.
It is the worst genocide commited in Europe since WW2.
The people of the Semitic religons should never forget the victims of the Srebrenica Genocide.
Never again should something like this occur to anyone.

Husref Musemic talking about the situation in BiH, Fk Sarajevo, as well as the future of football in that country.
Musemić za MONDO: Srbima fali patriotizam
Cetvrtak, 17. jul 2008. 14:45
I stručni štab i igrački kadar i rukovodstvo.

I agree with everything Musemic said. He is a smart guy and knows what he is talking about. I do think the Bosnian and Serbian NT's do need patriotism, many of them got lost with their club conditions and forgot about the nations they perform in. That is the case especially for Serbia's national team.
And yes people, here is where you can discuss foreign NTs.

Red Star fans have better fans than Serbian national team fans in general, I never got that.
And BH Fanaticos are like 100 times better than all the clubs in BiH premier league combined, and they're still not that good. I never got that either. Musemic speaks the truth

Very nice pool, perhaps not enough to host major tournaments since the stands seem very small and it seems like there is only one pool (major tournaments need more than one pool) but it will certainly be a plus for the swimming infrastructure and perhpas there will be some results.
It also seems like there is only 4 lanes in that first picture.

clearly they are numbered and we can only see lanes 4,5,6,7.
but i am wondering why did they need to make "Olympic Pool" when we will never host the summer olympics..

^ Too good of a comment! Nit you are class. You always get along with everyone, respect bro.
Who knows, it could one day happen but I really believe there are at least 100+ other cities way more fit to host it than Sarajevo. Plus even if we hosted it, it would probably be the worst Olympic to date considering we would be bringing the politics and all that other crap we complain day in and day out with us, :).
thanks bro :) appreciate it
As for the olympics, i think a clear cut NO is the answer lol, but aiming for the swimming world championships shouldn't be too far fetched. Montreal was shit, that pools much better, there just has to be more then one
It's a pretty sweet pool
To answer the length question it should be 50 meters and it does seem to have 8 lanes.
As for hosting a world class tournament. My university in the states isn't much of a swimming university and it still has 2 olympic pools with more stands that that, in addition they both has olympic diving boards, and they both fit waterpolo fields but that should also be the case with this pool.
And the town that its in has only 30,000 people.
Anyways just comparing how far behind we really are from the rest of the world.

It's a nice pool. What you guys fail to see is that this isn't mainly for "Olympics, World Championships, European Championships, or such" but it's mainly for getting our youth a possibility to compete competatively and hopefully one day compete at the Olympics due to the advantage of having such a nicely built pool on home terf. I'm sure we will be hosting some tournaments in this pool and maybe even put a roof over our water polo team here. :)

So true. Every university in the States, regardless of the population of the city, has like all that stuff you mentioned up there.
