Which way is she spinning????????

I found this and thought it was pretty cool. Freaks me out a bit but i have to say its the best oftical illusion ive seen.

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

she was clockwise for me.

If you are also clockwise, look at her shadow for a bit and imagine her spinning anticlockwise and she spins the other way. It took me a while to do though. can be a bit tricky to get her to spin the other way. i thought she couldnt even spin the other way at first. I thought it was impossible.

I bet it's whenever you focused on the shadow. If you focus on the shadow, you can see her turn any way you want her to because there's no shadow or discoloration on the body. Shadow never makes a full turn, and that's your only indication of which way she's turning. Also, every second turn her other legs shadow appears but it goes straight and you can't tell whether it's in the back or in front of the main shadow.

I can see it almost right away that it goes anti-clock. If you focus on her body it goes clockwise but if you really focus on her feets you will notice that it switches around anti-clock.

For me its all clockwise. I've stared at it for 5 minutes now. It never changes to counter, or stops and whatnot, just goes clockwise.

When i look at her standing feet it occurs an anticlock movement for a while. However i reckon it's just an optical illusion or something like that.

lmfao it was going clockwise then started going counter and i couldnt get it to go back to clockwise, so i shut my eyes for like 3 mins looked back then it was back to clockwise again, weird.

This is obviously fake. I'm pretty sure it's just fixed to turn clockwise and then counter clockwise a few seconds later. I wasn't even concentrating and I randomly saw it switch. It's fixed :)

Heh, I don't think its fixed. So far shes went counter-clockwise for me for about 1 second, and then went back to clockwise. That happened 15 minutes ago, and I still can't seem to get her to go counter again, lol.

I seriously think it's fake and it just randomly turns at random moments without consistency. When I get it counter clockwise, I can't turn it back to clockwise, even if that's my "stronger side". I don't know. Also, when she turns counter clockwise she uses her left leg while shes uses her right one to go clockwise. I think this is just a trick and has nothing to do with our brain/optic.

well try counting to see if its a certain time one what or something. It isnt rigged. I can give you more optical illusions if you find it hard to believe this one

just try to see the legs and follow them, than blink fast and try to mak it go the other way around, it works!

It's is definitely not fixed. I was observing it, and it's actually pretty freaky because you can make it go anyway you want it to, but she uses her left leg to go clockwise and her right leg to go counter-clock wise, which is freaky because you can make her go anyway you want to. The trick is look at her feet, and it only goes left and right for certain, but it's up to you to see(or at least think) whether her foot is going in front of her or in back of her. If you see her go left than front, it is clockwise, if you see her go left and then back, it is counterclockwise. Try it you'll see.
