I was wondering if anyone heard if the newly signed midfielder for AC Milan Drazen Brncic is going to play for Croatia because I heard he has a Belgium passport and has been offered a spot on their NT. All I know about him is that he is from Zagreb and played for Charleroi in Belgium and virtually nobody in Croatia knows about him. I hope he gets a spot.

I think he'll play for Belgium.

Honestly, do you really think Ciro would even give him a chance? I'm 100% sure he wouldn't.

That would be stupid if he decided to play for Belgium. Whats with our people being pussies and playing for other countries that they have no afiliation with. Such stupidity. Look at Ryan Giggs he has a chance to play for England and he said no. What about Dwight York, I heard England was trying to get him citizenship so he could play for England and he said no. Do you see Italians play for another country? The answer is no. What about Germans or even English or Spanish playing for other national teams, they don't. Brncic would be a sellout if he played for Belgium.

The 3 biggest faggot sellouts

1. Ivica Vastic-Born in SPlit but plays for Austria
2. Branko Strupar- is from Zagreb but plays for Belgium even though his family lives in Croatia and his club football is played in England. WHo should get booed when he plays in Zagreb.
3. Brncic- if he goes to Belgium.

LA CRO, it's not that straight forward.

Take Ivica Vastic for exmaple. He's my good friend's first cousin, so I know what I'm talking about.

Here's a guy who always worked hard to get called up to the NT. He asked Ciro on numerous occassions to give at least one call up so he can prove himself and Ciro never gave him the chance. He waited for a long time, after all he's now 30 years old.

He basically waited until the age of 27 to get a shot but it never happened. Even when he started to play very good, Ciro never considered him. All the while players like Vlaovic and Cvitanovic were getting chances in the NT.

Vastic has ambitions just like anybody else. Every player wants to play in EURO or in the WC. Unfortunately for him, his own country didn't give him the chance to do that, didn't even give him the chance to prove himself.

Just remember, things aren't always what they seem on the surface.

Ciro has his favourites, and that's it, it ends there. There are players who have no chance of making the NT, and they know it, not as long as Ciro is there.

With DiCanio I meant to say England or Scotland.

Sure but lets look at country pride. I have a lot of friends of different origin and when I tell them of this they also say it's a joke. Look at Paolo DiCanio, he is an awesome player but Italy never calls him up. Do you think if he had the chance to play for Italy or Scotland that he would play for them? I think not. What about David Ginola who used to be one of the best players in the Premeirship, I never seen him play for France and does he cry and jump ship and play for another country? No because he's not prostituting himself. What about Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink who was the best player in the Spanish League and didn't get the call for the Holland National Team for Euro 2000. Now that is absurd and do you see him want to play for lets say Portugal. No you dont. All of these other guys are wusses and are prostituting themselves switching there country of origin and playing for NT that they have no afiliations with.

Looking at it from that point of view I agree with you. My arguement was more that Ciro should have given an opportunity to Vastic, so I think that Ciro contributed to his playing for another country.

I agree totally Prosinecki Ciro is a man who has and always will play his favourites but there comes a time where he will have no choice but to change things, personally speaking its time for a change and for me it starts at the top, I think he has to go and im dissapointed he did not go after the yugo debarckle. Ciro has had his time in the sun its time to give someone else a go.

I also heard from many sources that Branko Stupar was desperate to play for the NT, he sent ciro numerous letters urging him to give him a go, but no only favourites here he said ha ha.

i find it very sad watching guys like strupar and vastic playing for other nations cause in the end its not fair to then and not fair to us.
