Greece as we all know is first in our group and should not be taken lightly
its not going to be as entertaining anymore since we basically blew our last 2 games away and our hopes of qualifying went down the toilet
but i still cant wait for this match and see bosnia square up against greece

Greece as we all know is first in our group and should not be taken lightly

Not put he doesnt play regular football at Man City so its hard for him to get playing time on the NT. He usually always gets called but doesnt play.

He going to. Nikopolidis is one of those players that on days he is suppose to concede 5 goals he concedes none. and on days he is suppose to concede 0 he concedes 5. He is Greeces best goalie.

yeah.. because our hopes are pretty much over of qualifying
and thats why we should still fight and not quit and not take you guys lightly as you guys need these 3 points more than we do because you guys if you get poor results then you guys can get kicked out of the 1st and 2nd place by norway and turkey

nice we get to score on Clooney a couple more times. Man i thought u guys made him retire or something after the Turkey game, wat happened? Greeks everywhere were saying he shouldnt be on the NT anymore

If u catch him on a good day u wont score any. Chalkias who is the backup isnt there yet.

None made him retire. Many of us just said that if he has pride he should quit after what he did in the game against Turkey. He did not. Of course we all admit that Nikopolidis has been a great goalkeeper and he offered a lot in the National team of Greece, but Nikopolidis of the present has many differences than Nikopolidis of the past. In my opinion, that's how it happens with all the players who start focusing on marketing and advertisements instead of football.

I bought tickets for the match today. It was easy to find as the match is in OAKA and of course a big part of the stadium is going to be empty. Not many people are expected, with 30,000 we must be satisfised.

Hopefully it will be a good game from both sides and the nationalists will not start any trouble. The audience has to be the standard audience of the Greek national team: families with women and children.

I haven't heard anything either. I mean if the your federation officially took tickets or not.

Unlike other times, when I took the tickets they did not ask me for ID card so maybe some Bosnians will go to the match indepedently and sit with the Greek fans if your federation did not take tickets.

It seems to me that the second Bosnian goal was due to the Greeks letting up after they had basically won? What is your options guys?

Congrats on the win guys. You were the better side, and maybe we wouldn't have conceded those last two goals if Hrgovic didn't get the red card, but nevertheless, good win for you.

The match went well, concerning the fans and fair play. I can't comment on the goal scored by Ibisevic, I saw the player from Bosnia kick it, I don't know who it was, then the screen froze, and then I saw Ibisevic taking the ball from the net, and then it froze and I didn't see the replay, heh. I guess I'll have to wait until someone uploads it to youtube.

But our FA is pretty much here to stay. Throwing flares and setting stuff on fire didn't work on getting them out. Lossing to bottom feeders as you say doesn't work. I guess our best option is to hire a hitman, and have them all wiped off the Earth, :p.

Our performance wasn't the most satisfying, but we took advantage of the good moments we had and we won fairly.

Now we need one more win and we are mathematically in Euro 2008 :D.

Man I felt for you after those results but you just have to shake them off and go forward this is what Scotland have done and I am sure you can do this too. No one can say you had a bad campaign, just a few mistakes on the way but you've gotta remember beating Turkey 3-2 is a great result.

I think its a disgrace that Greece are even in the qualifiers. They should not have to go through all these games so that they can defend their title. Greece should be already there and not having to go through all of this to qualify imo

lol greece only ends up scoring so many goals on bosnia, cant score more than 1 on anyone else
