Look for updates on Bristol Rovers Information. They currently are in League but with a bit of luck, they'll be in the Championship soon enough!

Kind of depressing really, had a easy chance early and that was about it. Played well just couldn't knock one in. I'm never really upset with a draw while on the road, but this could have been better.

The Rovers-City one from 1990...I don't think I was there for that one.

Last meeting between the great Bristol Rovers and Bournemouth, in Bournemouth, and it ended in a 1-0 win for the Rovers. That game was December 6, 2006.

Can we do a repeat?

Why? What's your connection?

Well my father and I have visited to England a few times, but never traveled outside of London. And he just recently moved to a town called Yaroslavl, Russia and did some charity work there, and while I was visiting there, I met a couple who were from Bristol. They had 4 kids, one of which is dating Rovers's Sean Rigg! So I, having no connection but still being a fan of overall football, attached myself to the Gas.
The couple recently went back to England and bought me a jersey and got Sean Rigg and the rest of the team to sign it! So, I'm forever a Gashead and would love to be able to visit the city.

I started watching Rovers from 1968 or 69.

I last saw them just before I moved here in 2004.

Very dissapointing, but I guess it's less games we have to play. Sean Rigg was player of the match, so congrats to him. Overall, I was sad not to see our reserve squad not come out and whip up on a weaker Bournemouth squad.

Bristol Rovers's next game is this Friday, away at Hartlepool.

Hartlepool are currently in 8th position in the English League One, their colors are blue and white, with their kits being stripped. They are located in Hartlepool, England. Their nicknames are Pools and Monkey Hangers. And their stadium is known as Victoria Park

Tough luck Lucas.

I know, it was absolutly awful to listen to. I know probably nobody here listened to the game but if you did, it was hard to do. Rovers played absolutly fabulous football in the second half and just did EVERYTHING right except for hitting the back of the net. It should have been a win, but the luck wasn't on our side. Gotta rebound for our next fixture.

Byron Anthony is out for atleast 12 weeks!

This is horrible news, but during the Bristol Rovers match against Bournemouth, defender Byron Anthony broke his fifith metatarsal. He is expected to be out for 12 weeks which means he won't be back until 2008. :faint2:

This is a big blow for the Gas, our performance is already lacking, and the last thing we need are injuries to our everday starters.

Here's a link for more information of the injury.

Green are the teams that are in position to get automatic promotion.
Red are the teams that are to get relegated
And blue is for the BEST TEAM IN ENGLAND!

*I'm kind of worried about this season. I thought that Bristol Rovers were safe with their early draws and away wins, but recently form and injury issues have me worried. This is a good league with three teams that have had major impact in Europe in the past 15 years (Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, and Millwall). Not to mention we have Southend who defeat Man U last year. I would say that the best news is that we are out of the JPT competetion and the Carling Cup, so we won't have to worry about those anymore.
Honestly, I just don't want to get relegated.....

COME ON GAS!
