So I'm posting this in the Championship thread because they don't have a League One thread for English football.
So, as some of you might have noticed, I'm very indecisive when it comes to who I support. This is mainly because I have NO attachements to any of the teams since their is really no team in Atlanta, and I'm the first soccer fan in my family.
Well, my father lives in Yaroslavl, Russia ( long story ), and so I visited over the summer, and when I did, I decided to work for this charitable organization for helping Russian students learn English. Well, when i was there, I met this great couple from Bristol, England. Well, I got to be good friends with them and they informed me how one of their daughters were dating a football player from their local side, Bristol Rovers.
Naturally I was excited about the connection and so they promised me that when they went back to England, they would get me a jersey and send it via mail to me when I got back in America.
So that was this summer, and so I had kind of forgotten about the whole thing since I haven't heard from them. Well, SUPRISE!!! Sure enough, in the mail I recieved the package, yet instead of it JUST being a jersey, it was a jersey SIGNED BY THE ENTIRE SQUAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So from now on I'm a Bristol Rovers supporter and I'm including pictures I took of the jersey!
