1st. match , Benfica after scoring 2 times and get a 2-0 advantage had a horrible 35 / 40 minutes when everything happened...
First the italian Pesaresi slapped a Varzin football player and gave them a big chance : a penalty and a red card , fortunately for the red team Prokopenko missed and the result stayed 2-0...
Zlatko Zahovic was substituted and showed a very upset face , he got furious with his coach , something that no one can accept !!
Mantorras in the Varzimīs area trying to make a drible was pushed by an oposite side football player , a clear penalty but the referee was sleeping and didnīt give it !!
Then the big Varzimīs pressing had results and they scored a cool goal ...
15 minutes before the end and with the result 2-1 for Benfica , Varzim continued pressing , then a man , Porfirio , destroyed the match !!
With a terrible tackle he got red card , Benfica had to play with 9 men only and 10 minutes till the end ...
In the last minute , another Varzim attack and the 2nd goal came easy in a terrific own goal by Cabral !!!!
2-2 and some seconds still to play , time enough for Anderson to make 3-2 for Benfica but the swedish missed something that seemed easy ...
Final result , 2-2 ... Benfica after 2-0 advantage missed the chance to get 3 points ... good performance for Varzim !!
