I've just spent the last hour having a read around this forum as I've long since been looking for a place with a wealth of information on Argentinian football and certainly there is a strong list of debate and discussion going on in here.

I am working on a project at the moment whereby we are looking for someone to write and give their thoughts on the Argentinian game. We are looking for the latest news stories (transfers, team news, managerial changes, etc) as well as match previews and reports. Additionally, it would be nice to have the comment of some Argentinian football fans on the national team, tactics, selection and domestic league.

There really does seem to be a lack of Argentinian football coverage on the internet, and as there is clearly some excellent opinion on this forum I would be grateful for any advice to point me in the right direction!

Thank you

Hey there. It seems like we are looking for similar types of information. I am also looking for people to talk about football in Argentina but rather than people writing news reports, I am looking for people to provide information on players, football teams, transfers etc for a well known football game - Championship Manager.

Have you had any luck? Any possible suggestions to sourcing information? Maybe we can pool our resources together or share future information. What do you think?

Saudi Guy...nice one dude. Much appreciated. I'm sure the links will help. Should be a good game between boca and river as long as the fans don't kill each other. Maybe that's part of the appeal. Who you reckons gonna win?

What happened to Boca?? According to most newspapers, Boca didn't turn up to the game and were thoroughly outplayed by a River Plate team who looked up for the game.
What happened BOCA??

Anyway, here are some the links that I use for sourcing information about Argentinian football:

http://www.universofutbol.com.ar/ - very good site for news in all of Argentina’s divisions.

If anyone has any further suggestions, let me know.
