TSL Week 6: Bursaspor vs. Fenerbahce

Hard away game for any team, but Fenerbahce are coming off a victory against inter. I expect our subs to start this game.

Yeah I think a mixture of our subs and starters will play this game. Fenerbahce is notorious for playing bad right after CL/UEFA games.

I definitely wanna see Carlos and Wederson this game, though.

man wat was the ref doing during the time egemen was injured, he was acting all wierd looking at his yellow list, looking for someone, reaching for his red card, making egemen come to the asistant ref, doing the red card reach again, pointing at his watch. Guy was probably waiting for commands for ulusoy.

our penalty against denizli wasnt givin either. this is just shit

and he gave only 4 minutes of extratime when minimum he should have given was 8

Bursa is a strong team and i was waiting even worse for Fener 1 point is a good result for Fener.

Fenerbahce played their hearts out last wednesday. This score is pretty much expected, if I may say so.

Alex wasn't all that bad but when the whole team is doing bad how can one man save it? Most players are in a good form but there was no unity this time.

And the ref...

I try not to hide behind this excuse (cliche I know) but this guy made me doubt my football knowledge. And here I am thinking you can only stop the game for the goalie. I know, Fenerbahce couldnt score the winning goal in 90 mins, why would you complain about the extra 8? Well, they just stopped 2 teams dead in the middle of the game and messed the whole concentration up. (Soguttular oyunu yani.) And the ref was looking around if anybody would complain about what he was doing so he could pull out more cards.

And what's with all these teams turning into butchers when they face teams like Fener, Besiktas and Galatasaray? Why do they keep fouling when they can't reach the ball? And why isn't the ref doing anything about it? They turn the calmest players crazy.

I know a lot of you non Fener fans out there are gonna think what I'm saying is bullshit but it's getting out of hand. It's like because we have players like Alex, they decide that we have to have our players injured to deserve freekicks and penalties. For God's sake, why is there always a 100% obvious penalty or freekick every game Fener plays that goes unseen? Why do refs in general not realize what's card worthy and what's not (this week's Trabzonspor game was a big example). Why can't they tell a goal from a handball (Besiktas game)?

A team doesn't have to play top class football every time to win. We know this is true. A game can go either way in a match but when a ref has TOO much control over the game it sometimes goes the wrong way. Bursa didn't play that good today. We didn't do much till the 60th minute either. But why was the game stopped just when Fener started to apply pressure? Why were yellow cards flying left and right for us when Bursa got away with freekicks and a penalty?

I think this way about all teams games, not just ours. I went crazy when Besiktas had that goal taken from them because it signaled for worse things to come. I was pissed off when Hakan was pretty much handed a penalty in the Galata - Manisa game, not because I don't like Galatasaray, but because I realized our refs are still blind. Hell, even Hakan was surprised at that penalty.

Granted, Fenerbahce didn't play a quarter of the game against Inter. But Bursaspor did NOT stop Fener from winning in a LEGIT way.

Dang I wrote an essay. Meh, maybe I'm just mad we still draw after finding more and more goal chances week after week. We're getting better. Just not fast enough. At least now there isn't a 80 meter difference between the defense and the last man forward.

I swear where do these refs come from, i mean we must have the worst ref school in the world, and u know y these refs keeping get away with this shit is because they are never punished for all their poor games. I mean the lower lvl anadolu teams just act like hayvans, trying break legs and wat not. They arent even playing football, its a disgrace to watch, at least we can watch some real football about 10 days from now.

and lol about the essay part, i swear if in school they let us write about topics like fener or football i would have always gotten an A+ instead of the Cs i always got.

Yeah I stopped caring about all these points lossed. Me getting mad over them wont change anything. Besides we're playing good in the CL. And it's kinda obvious what this team wants to do from now. Focus on CL, use the league as a practice ground and progress slowly. Pff, if thats what they wanna do, why should I get upset?
