You can see the schedule that mARZ put up Zvone. I haven't heard anything about Boban coming back, and don't get your hopes up bro. I remember Ciro saying that Boban would play at least 1 of the important qualifying games, and Boban responded immediatley saying his decision to retire is final.

Boban doesn't seem like the type of guy that would change his mind about retirement. :(

Hey Pro-my dad picked up a great "Vatreni" tape at a Cro picnic here a couple of weeks ago...HAve you seen it? It's in Croatian and "follows" the team "behind the scenes" throughout the World Cup...It's great! It has interviews with all the players and shows our fans celebrating with each advancing round... The best was after we destroyed Germany and our fans were singing,"Deutsland-auf friedesen!"...

About Boban, I heard he was retiring soon which is shame because he is a good player and seems a nice guy from what I have seen of him in interviews, but when he leaves who will be the Croatian captain?

Hey Pro-my dad said you can get the tape at I believe Savarin Springs...This place is in Stoney Creek near/on? King Street. It's a store that sells water and videos and is owned by a Croatian.

The name of the tape mentions Croatia winning the Bronze medal and Suker being the top striker of the tourney...(sorry-my cousin wasn't home last night when I called so I still don't know the name)

Do you know of the store I am talking about?

Hey dudes the exact name of the tape is "France 98 Vatreni Za Uvijek" I picked it up from a cro bookstore here in sydney about 8 months ago, man what a compliation I feel inspired every time I watch it this is a must have.

Marz-do you remember the scene of our fans after beating Germany? Or what Blazevic says about Batistuta and Boban tries hard not to laugh?...

I also like it because it was the first time I ever heard the players speak live. The interviews are great!

Zvonimir man who could ever forget the scene where blazevic takes the piss out of Batistuta and Boban is strugging to keep it all in, man that was comical.

And those scenes after the german game man what a rush, I will never forget watching that game and the way we played I went absolutely wild during and after that game and that atmosphere is captured on this video. Its also cool at the end of the video when the players arrive back in croatia and everyone including the players and the fans sing davor davor suker suker, man that was cool.

Honestly dude I could and im sure you could talk about wc98 forever, man it makes me feel so proud.

I think its time to make a backup of this video as im scared im gonna wear it out cause I watch it too much, I guess its better to be safe than sorry ha ha.

Hey guys, just got back from California tonight, was in Redwood city for work...

Anyways, what a ***king game today, Italy and Netherlands, the Italians are still honking outside (all you hamilton guys know what I mean:-)

I haven't seen any of those tapes, I would love to get a hold of them. Savarian Springs might have them, I don't know, if not try CroDisk in Mississauga. Let's try to encode them to MP3 and share it:-)

About the NT. I don't know about you guys, but I think it's time we get the young guys practicing and playing as a unit. They definitley have the potential, they just lack focus (as they showed in the under 21 Euro championships) We have guys like Leko, Balaban, Mate Bilic, Sokota, Biscan, Lalic, Baturina, Musa, Mikic ( i hate that guy, sorry guys, but he's a caulky kid, however he has some skills)etc, etc, etc.....

Get all these guys together, under a REAL coach, not that peder Ciro (the Torcidas in me coming out:-) and we'll be all set. The only senior guys we need to keep are Soldo (fantastic hustler) Boksic (old, worn, but still dangerous) Jarni(the best winger in the game) Bilic (no defense is complete without the Splitski Maniac, come on , tell me this guy is not the best character on the team?!) Asanovic (I know he wants to retire, but he does a good job of filling Boban's leadership shoes) and Vlaovic (still dwindling, but I think he's about to break out and show what he is made of). Oh yeah, Tudor and Simic are in the list too. I know this won't be too popular to say, but I think that Suker has to go. His time was here and gone in WC98, now out of respect, we're keeping him in the NT. I think he's all done.....

Whew, did I write enough?? Let me know what you guys think....Shit, maybe we should go over and play for the NT:-)

Hey Pro: You wondered what happened with Ciro and Bati...Well, nothing really. It was a press conference before the game against Argentina and Boban is sitting beside him wearing sunglasses-just relaxing...

Ciro says he wouldn't trade "his" Boban for anyone in the world...then he says I think he wouldn't trade 10 Batistutas for one Suker...then he says I believe-"F**K you Batistuta!" There is a little silence and you see Boban struggle not to laugh, then everyone in the room bursts out laughing...

He then wispers to the cameraman to please erase that...

Basically Pro-just get the tape!
